The Windy City Awaits

I had no time for writing yesterday as I had to tie up loose ends at home and pack for the next few weeks. Until Chicago…

Going back to yesterday, Will Hot Pockets replace grilled cheese on the lot?

  2. tela'smuff Says:

@last – deal. and it has to be garlic. the grilled cheese, not the wook.

OT Winner! my brother is the real hawks fan and thinks phish is dumb but he’s been forced to hear it thru our long car rides….after the win he txts me, “HAVE ANOTHER DRINK, FROM THE STANLEY CUP!” I got turned a little Roenick for a minute.

  4. jdub Says:

Congrats to all you Hawks fans out there, condolences to Flyers fans.

I hadn’t seen that Karissa video before. For some reason I googled Phish Karissa and ended up on a PT thread flaming the young lady. It is scary to think these people who feel the need to bash each other so recklessly represent our fan base. No wonder people have such a sketchy view of Phish and their fans.

Love the respect BB has for each other and the world in general. Don’t all have to agree all the tine but it is a refreshing community and we are lucky to have this. Thank you Miner!

I need a shower after reading some of that garbage.

  5. fat bastard Says:

now we can get down in chitown! Kane ftw!

the green board is unreal sometime. I posted a quick note yesterday wondering if people had started getting merriweather tickets and ended up in a 20 post flame war thread being called a noob and with all the KYS nonsense etc. I was not surprised but still annoyed.

    blackboard is king for sure

  7. lastwaltzer Says:

I looked up what you were speaking of, shameful. People need to drop the headier than thou attitude. Then again I guess its not surprising coming from the greenboard.

  8. lastwaltzer Says:

Will Summer Tour ’10 be so amazing that greenboarders won’t even get it….leaving them to process something with less depth a’la Cheese Whizz Accident?

That was a heady jelly fish brah

  9. whole tour! Says:

what did they play on fallon?

  10. c0wfunk Says:

damn it’s been a long time since I heard a heady jellyfish

  11. c0wfunk Says:

@wt kdf taped same night as the loving cup

  12. Guyute711 Says:

Summer Tour ’10, will Trey sweat through his blazer?

  13. Mitch Says:

    61 comments already?! 😯

I could go for a Vultures at blossom. just sayin’

  14. willowed Says:

Will Summer Tour ’10 melt faces ala Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Arc when that Nazi dude opens the arc and this great beam of light flies out with all the ghosts and such then continues to melt faces of the poeple whose eyes are open.
Note to self….close eyes during gooey jams so face is not melted and don’t eat mushroom tea with MMA fighters.

  15. c0wfunk Says:

lol just cued up gd 1993-09-16 from msg and during the pre first set tuning you can hear an addled new yorker screaming at the taper :

“f that, f your recording, all night long cuz I cannot deal with it, sorry to say f all you guys, it ain’t gonna work”

  16. c0wfunk Says:

ahh turned into a sbd, thank god.

  17. whole tour! Says:

word @ cowfunk. thanks. see u in nc/ga!

  18. Chonz Says:

I can already tell that work is going to be interminably slow today. On the road to Chicago tonight! Have a great day and I hope to meet some of y’all at BTBFest.

  19. c0wfunk Says:

just atl for me it looks like .. telluride has altered our plans so we’re going to skip the nc shows. Maybe the first time since 1996 phish was 2-4 hours from me and I didn’t go? We’ll see I guess I may make it down to Charlotte after all

  20. jdub Says:

Epic Light jams in 2010 will either cause ah ha moments for these holier than thou fans or confuse them more. I mostly feel sorry for those who live a life constantly entrenched in the coolness of themselves.

On a positive note, new Phish jams in less than 36 hours. A reason to celebrate!

  21. c0wfunk Says:

merriweather, atl, telluride is my summer plan

  22. c0wfunk Says:

it was fun seeing my friends who were jaded on light at charlottesville. At home they mocked the song incessantly. At the show all they could do was gape in awe as their faces melted off indiana jones nazi style

  23. willowed Says:

jdud…I totally feel what your saying.
    I hate that shit.
Remember people….we’re all in this together

  24. willowed Says:

Back in the day that face melting scene was A++ studio work.

  25. c0wfunk Says:

So far, I try to go work, but then I pack another one and hit refresh instead. Must be tour’s eve
