Big ‘Sand’ tonight
I can feel it…
Looks like the fuzz was undercover at MPP over the weekend.
I hope they enjoyed that Ghost.

that was a joke there zz….a comment on the randomness of sets of late…i suspect they’ve been using your stats tool/app for years regardless…
CMAC is a 6 hour drive from my house. I’m sitting here seriously contemplating getting in my car and going for it. Two obstacles for me, I have a plywood delivery coming at some point this morning and no where to sleep.
Should I stay or should I go now.
I goofed on that Trey pic on the facemelting blog – had too.
@ JDub
I had a similar conversation with myself, yesterday, and my more responsible (read: older) half won.
For both of us, GET IN THE CAR!
jdub..where you coming from?
About to eat some oatmeal and then hit the road. See you cats at CMAC.
two police tales from Camden 1:
–walking to the big lot down by the baseball stadium, a cop sees us drinking beers as we walk. tells us we can’t drink in public; most of us say “where’s the trash can” and continue on our way. one friend decides it’s a good idea to chug the beer in front of the cop. bad idea jeans. he left that show with two ticket stubs…
–walking into the venue, another friend goes to stash his stash and while bent over “tying his shoe” an undercover approaches him and tells him to hand it over and “don’t be a dumbass next time; go enjoy the show”. cost him a show piece and a bag, but that’s it.
all in all, two relatively tame interactions with the po po. both could have been a lot worse, especially in Camden (my wife knows from experience — their jail is no joke).
just a reminder to keep your head about you at these shows. we often feel like we can do whatever we want in the lots or in the show, but common sense and a head on a swivel could keep you out of the clink.
the more you know…
::cue shooting rainbow star::
I’m coming from CT and I need a ticket. I just got my delivery so my work is clear. Haven’t told my wife yet.
go, jdub, go! you won’t regret it. you know that to be true.
i have some pictures, there not nearly as good as those but they are from front row night 2 mpp. how should i load them?
@T3, got to keep your wits about you. SPAC, Hartford, and GW had surprisingly little po po presence. They barely checked you going in to the shows.
llamalee – email them to miner. his email is on the front page of the site on the right hand side
Also, @zz, haven’t seen any casual post-weekend observations from you. You buying into this energy boost of late? I was at Camden and it was real from my perspective. Gelling was kind of an understatement. Have mpp on right now and it’s also got the telltale spunk and playfulness/thoughtfulness.
Get some Jdub
Will there be tickets floating around tonight? Seems with the stellar weekend this one might pull a lot of last minute fans in.
@bhizzle, maybe 3 or so?
@jdub, do it brother. i may have an extra lawn–but i won’t know for sure until afternoon. and if worse comes to worse, you can be the 2nd person on the floor of my super 8 hotel room (classy)
Good evening all.
Anyone have thoughts on the “tailgating” questions surrounding CMAC? Seems like different accounts of strictness will be/not be in effect tomorrow (err, today). I have my 10 by 10 tent, lawn chairs and a cooler of cool drinks and would hate to be refused entry for that. I can’t imagine that they’d be that tough. Anybody have other thoughts?
Look for me and the parents x 3 grooving in our seats! They haven’t seen Trey since Utica and have never seen a PHiSH show. Here’s hoping they saved a little something for us from Merriweather and Camden.
Stash>Manteca>Jam>Manteca>Take The A Train>Manteca>Stash
See ya’ll there, perhaps…
I’ll have my FukenGruven T on in honor of my German inlaws taking in their first show. It’s gonna be a hoot!
@jdub if you decide to do it, i think you have my #, if not, email me by noon to let me know if you’re coming (i have your #)
good evening? what time zone are you in corey? lol
Sorry, that was a repost from last page, last night…
So, Good Morning, ya’ll!
I don’t think they will be stopping people getting into the parking lot and checking coolers but they have been strict there in the past. I always bring a covered cup for my drinks at that venue and have seen many a beer poured out.
@KWL, I got your number. I would like to leave in an hour. Thanks for the offer of floor space and possible ticket. I just have to figure out the best way to present this to my wife.
@jdub
no doubt. I accidentally brought a pocket knife into Hartford one night that I had totally forgotten was in my satchel. my wife was digging for hand sanitizer and pulled the witch from out the ditch. surprised me for sure. camden wasn’t really bad either, provided you didn’t do anything stupid!
