  1. Moby Dick Says:

    I know Wendy has been getting a lot of props already, but let me add to the accolades.

    Incredible work!

  2. Robear Says:

    top of the mornin’ all.

    got to read yesterday’s comments after flying home. great takes on the tour. lots of stuff i’d like to add.

    but instead, the one thing that really sticks out is SAncho completely dissing me, while I’m not around, and no one has my back, except for Poo G.

    way to go, french army. i’ll wait till i see him post to respond.

    @LW

    thats great!

    im sure it feels good to know she supports our habit.

    I think your situation in the perfect win-win. A week of hiking or 4 phish shows in a row=You’re winning the game of life.

  4. Bad Nirvana Cover Band Says:

    i was really hoping they were going to cover a Nirvana song out of Harpua.

    — REPOST from Last Night —

    Some of the things I noticed about this leg:

    – One Maze? Why? This song is too powerful to be locked up.

    – No Liquid Time, Waves. ASIHTOS, SS&S, The Curtain. Again, why?

    – an increase in heavy metal Phish, which to me is a great sign for the developing new sound. Carini, I Saw it Again, MPP Tweezer, Killing in the Name Of, 20 Years Later, BBFCFM. Keep it coming!

    – most eclectic and solid group of covers debuted. I think they are trying to unify all the different backgrounds that are coming in to the mix these days. Classic Rock Covers, Folk covers, Indie covers, Funk Covers

    – No-holds barred song-selection. Alumni Blues, Fuck Your Face, I Saw it Again, two Telas, two Camel Walks???

    – 2001 is starting to beef back up

    – A continuing to develop confidence and control in their jamming

    – A handful of new tunes that need to be played again. Halfway to the Moon, Idea, Dr. Gabel

    – Bring back Beauty of a Broken Heart

    – Few TTEs

    – Only piece missing for the full re emergance of Mike’s Groove is Mike Song. Weekapaugs have been increasingly stellar

    – RnRs openin Saturday nights = Too predictible and time to move on.

    – Fishman is back with a vengeance

    – Moby Dick was extremely fun!

    – The whale is a crucial and incredible part of the developing sound

    Sorry for the long post

    LLFA WE ARE WINNING!

    Seriously though, I’m gonna need to start supporting “her” habit. LLFA!

  10. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

    nice. hadn’t previously noticed Trey quoting Buried Alive a tad after the last verse in the Bag that followed it in Charlotte.

    @KWL,
    thanks for the link I can’t plug my headphones at work but that looks like something id be interested in!

  12. Robear Says:

    where’s the guy disrespecting me while i was not around yesterday?

  13. c0wfunk Says:

    don’t forget after show! We often made more in the hour after the show than the 4 before. You have to sacrifice the encore and get near the gates so you can be ready for the throngs to spill out.

  14. BeantownBoy Says:

    @ Robear

    G’day, you back in Humboldt; how was your ATL debauchery with AW?

  15. SillyWilly Says:

    @BTB

    even though the weekend with my girl really was great.

    the thought “BTB left Cleveland for Atlanta, why can’t I?…” kept creeping into my head.

  16. Robear Says:

    thanks for watching my back, poo G.

  17. sumodie Says:

    Is it possible to hallucinate smells? I am spinning Raleigh and I swear a waft of bane just went through my office.

  19. llamalee Says:

    want to start off by thanking miner for putting together this blackboard of great people. I had a great time hanging with fellow BBers and especially want to thank leo for putting on a great beer-b-q and really organizing southern meet-up. Things got extremely out of hand 4th of july night, everyone was in too great of a mood after the show and the la quinta in alpharetta got fucking destroyed. great 3 day run (we’ll forget about raleigh)

  20. c0wfunk Says:

    absolutely possible guyute.. you can hallucinate with any / all of your senses. I happen to be an expert in that particular subject.

  21. Robear Says:

    beantown, we had an incredible time. thanks for asking.

    amazing weather. excessive eye candy. top notch venue, the best of it’s kind, IMO. great seats, great staff, awesome vibes.

    couldn’t have asked for more.

  22. Guyute711 Says:

    He obviously doesn’t know you Robear, It was nice to meet you.

  23. SillyWilly Says:

    LW 2 Life 0.

    *In the 3rd Inning LW decided to do a week long hiking vacation, making the score 1-0.

    *In the 7th, Life tried to use a trick play, only for LW to diagnose it properly and turn Life’s play into another score. Bringing the count to LW 2, Life 0.

  24. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

    @guyute
    they say that one of the many possible signs of schizophrenia is smelling the odor of burnt toast. I’d say that qualifies ๐Ÿ˜‰

  25. BTB Says:

    “Kick down before you get down”

    Great chilling again – you smuggle andy of Leo’s BBQ back with ya?
