Weekend Nuggets: SPAC 2010
DOWNLOAD OF THE WEEKEND:
With just under two weeks before Phish kicks off a three-day party in the Bay Area, SPAC’s finale is the last show remaining from Leg I’s download series. Highlighted by a strong first set and a sublime sequence of “Drowned > Swept Away > Steep,” Phish concluded their Northeastern with a relatively tame, song-based outing.

VIDEO OF THE WEEKEND:
“Show of Life” – 6.19.10, SPAC (Official Release)
@ae – on the soundbridge you browse and find your music on the device’s itself with a remote control – so it’s all there with on the screen your stereo components and your pc can be elsewhere in the house – no fiddling with the pc. I haven’t used the cooler new type that El Dude has.
i eat meat occasionally. when in philly, i might make an exception. in any case we might end up back there daytime on saturday before wedding festivities and the SLF is most definitely NOT a veg, so lay em’ on me!
will definitely check out druid’s keep, i remember you pimpin that one last fall, and probably one or two other things on your list
another new method i am officially adopting today: make google docs for everything
can access it online from anywhere
every time i take a trip i get greats recs from locals and do all this work to dig up places to eat, drink, see, etc… and then all that info gets lost & i have to start all over again next time i go
first google doc = travel, first entry = GD on philly
Gino’s > Pat’s, if we’re talking steaks in Philly. And if my opinion on that subject is even accepted.
10/31/93 Hood – $$$
Auld Lang Syne tease – $$$$
whats the limit of flie size for downloading on megaupload for u guys that don’t have an acct?
1gig i think.
word….thanks
must be in sync with the board today. Just listened to 10/30/09 set II. nice disease, caspian, wolfman’s,piper segment. page on fire and up front.
re eating in philly – zahav is a unique place, with great options for veg and non-veg. not cheap, but it is excellent.
Seeing Inception in about 30mins – pretty psyched.
@ AE
Yes you do browse on the HDTV screen.
I have access to both my external drives and all my media folders on my 500g internal hd on the I-Mac.
Yes you can output to a AV/Receiver and HDTV via HDMI and optical out options.
149.00$ is not that expensive and I think they’ve even come down 20 – 40.00$ since Christmas when I received mine.
The only bummer about this, and from what I understand all HD Live media players, is that there is always a very short gap between audio tracks unlike CD/BD players
Folder browsing options can be list, Thumbnail, or Cover Flow which is kinda nice.
thanks dude. does that mean (short gap) that your phish listening includes gaps between each track? definitely not too expensive, if it’s the right device.
good afternoon everyone
hectic weekend here, but now Im free to chill.
just throwing this out there for anyone who loves a quality breakfast tea.
Barry’s Gold blend from Ireland.
This is the way your morning tea should be. Great with a little milk and sugar. Enlivens your spirit and puts a smile on your early morning face.
If bane and coffee is a hippie speed ball, what is bane and black Irish tea?
The Van Morrison?
whats up guys
sittin with bigjig at the Las Vegas airport
we just slayed Vegas for the weekend for a our buddy’s bachelor party
i made it thru the whole weekend with out drinking….holy shit
Way to go butter!
awesome, butter!
bet your body is thanking you for that one.
its such a good feeling to roll out of bed whistling while everyone around you is groaning
at a bachelor party in vegas no less. That’s got to be a really tough test of will power. Did you annoy the shit out of your hungover buddies in the morning? (or whenever it is that one wakes up from vegas sleep)
@ AE
Yep on the gaps.
Read that fake jerry article, found this shocking:” It’s been interesting to hear Bob say he considers the Dead’s peak to be the ’89-’90 period as a band.” jon k.
yea, this is really such an extreme example too, cuz i can’t rub it in because folks are hurting…..but fuck yea… im stoked !!
so i’ll celebrate with you guys
speaking of alcohol. I figure the Van Morrison has to have a shot involved in it too.
also, working 12 hour shifts hungover sucks. Same mistake as last week but Saturday night is the only time I really can have a drink around the house. girlfriend not at home on Saturdays and she’s trying to live sober so I don’t drink around her at all. Kind of hypocritical of me to get drunk when she’s not there I guess.
cool thing is i still raged and hung tough
up till 5am fri and 7am this morning
we got Dumphstapunk playin our local brew pub in Sebastopol, CA tonite
butter, that is awesome. way to stay strong and know the BB is behind you.
