do normal people know what MSG stands for?

  7. Mr.Palmer Says:

As in Madison Square Garden? Every normal person i know does, but i lived there half of my life.

  8. SillyWilly Says:

When I hear of MSG I think of the stuff that you don’t want in your food.

  9. Luther Justice Says:

I agree Mr. P. The Q was the best P&F line-up. If only they could have kept the friendship going. I do think it was prob the longest lasting P&F line-up. I even like their studio album.

  10. SillyWilly Says:

    @Mr. C

“beautifully phrased. bumper sticker material, words to live by.
    “timbering,” love it”

now the question is would you buy said bumper sticker for, say…5 dollars?

  11. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

  12. SillyWilly Says:

  16. RamblinOnMyMind Says:

which Dead official release has a “No MSG Jam” on it?

  17. jdub Says:

MSG is in the northeast is commonly understood, now do normally people understand the psychedelic nature or of MSG. No. It means high level sports event or Billy Joel or Justin Timberlake.

The walls of MSG dripping all around with sound are secrets for just Dead and Phish fans.

  18. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

if all goes right i will see you amidst that magic silly

  19. jdub Says:

Too many typos above, sorry. Too many Sierras at this point.

  20. SillyWilly Says:

    Right on, DF!

i definitely want to be there for those shows.

  21. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

something tells me missing halloween and new years this year would be a huge mistake. which is why i’m not going to jones beach and saving money for them

  22. RamblinOnMyMind Says:

Dick’s Picks 9 has the No MSG Jam

  23. halcyon Says:

    BB fam

keep the good vibes going … ticket karma may have just fallen in place for telluride for a friend…..

  24. jdub Says:

Great news Halcy, way to channel it and stay positive.

Been listening to Further from Gathering of the Vibes this past weekend. A strong show. The last two times Phil has visited the Jerry celebration festival they have played He’s Gone and Wharf Rat in Set 2. Both emotionally charged versions as would be expected. Kind of nice having a jerry celebration in back yard every year. Wish I could have made it for this one.

And check out Kung Fu. They are for real. Funk induced Psyche music. Most definitely on the up and up.

  25. RamblinOnMyMind Says:

Is there any way to turn the music off when you go to the Furthur website? I mean, Golden Road is nice and all, but…
