Deer Creek '00 (Distante)

Following up the last two downloads, this show completes Phish’s three-night run at Deer Creek in 2000. The second set featured, perhaps, the three most-often payed songs of summer in “Jibboo, “Sand,” and “Twist.” The strong playing of the second set continued with “Fee > What’s the Use? > Limb.”

I: Cars Trucks Buses , Wilson, It’s Ice, Bathtub Gin, Buffalo Bill, My Mind’s Got a Mind of its Own, Split Open and Melt, Sparkle, Funky Bitch, David Bowie

II: Gotta Jibboo, Sand, Twist, Fee > What’s the Use? > Limb By Limb, Loving Cup

E: Run Like an Antelope

  3. mr. murph Says:

  4. Luther Justice Says:

With the great leap forward the band made when they kicked off leg 2 last summer, you can’t help but be on pins & needles for tomorrow. I think we have the makings for a throw down from the starting line of Leg 2. Another legendary venue taboot taboot.

  5. Mr.Palmer Says:

No Whitey Mixes # 1 and 2 are the bomb. Adubs bringing the soul and funk.

  6. mr. murph Says:

Mound in telly. Im feeling it. And galleys at the greek

  7. SillyWilly Says:

    @Mr. Murph

    Love me some Mound.

just got back from buying my saturday night Alpine pavilions.

Never know who you’re going to see when you buy off craigslist.

    Craigslist+PhishTix = Some colorful cats.

    love it.

  8. Mr.Palmer Says:

Silly- is JB 2 the only piece of your puzzle missing now?

  9. SillyWilly Says:

    Yes, Mr. P.

  10. El Duderino Says:

y’all think my chances of getting a very very cheap DC night 2 ticket are good?

  11. El Duderino Says:

just feelin’ some pre-road trip jitters.

Haven’t traveled without tix to Phish since Nautica ’94

  12. El Duderino Says:

“Going to the beach and bout to pass through were el.dude lives.”

    ????

  13. Mr.Palmer Says:

el dude- i was just checking out stubhub for JB. People ar trying to sell Alpine and DC for less than $30. I would say you should be able to get a lawn for no more than $20.

I gave a young couple @ SPAC 2 lawns for $30. sucked, but, these are the games we play.

  14. SillyWilly Says:

    El Dude,

I might be able to pick you up a 25-30$ lawn here in Madison.

Might be able to get down towards 15-20$ as the shows get nearer and kids get worried they’ll eat em.

  15. El Duderino Says:

Have doubts that the improvement leap will be as big between legs like ’09

    Not being a hater.

IMO It’s like being the person who is getting in shape… It’s hard at first and as you get stronger you make these leaps and bounds but when you’re finally in shape it’s tougher to make such big strides.

  16. Gavinsdad Says:

El Dude – puhleeeze. Youre in the building on the cheap. Keep watching the surplus market like Palmer. It’s already showing softness

  17. joe Says:

what’s the market outlook on jones beach tickets?

  18. El Duderino Says:

    @ Palmer

    Thanks for the info.
Sold my Charlotte GA/Lawn for 10.00 and a great Raleigh PAV for 40.00

    @ Silly

I appreciate that but it’s not necessary.
20.00$ is pretty much my maximum.
Not trying to be to cool for school.
    Just hard times.

  19. Luther Justice Says:

But I’ve heard the band is taking roids @Dude. The juice will take them to the next level on Leg 2.

  20. Lycanthropist Says:

I got to kickdown Couch Tour tix to trade for your Greeks.

  21. Mr.Palmer Says:

JB is gonna be a bit tougher. Shows sold out pretty much immediately and they are the last two of tour. Plus you have the whole NY, NE thing going on. The lack of an end of tour festi or weekend shows will make it harder. Tickets will be around though. If you want to get in, you will. Just find Gdad in the lot… you’ll be good.

  22. El Duderino Says:

Sounds like Gdad is the regional heavy hitter in those parts

  23. Gavinsdad Says:

@Joe: definitely stiffer. But just like the Greeks just this week Ive seen face price tix surface. Not trades, straight purchases. I think tix will show up in the lot too.

  24. SillyWilly Says:

    @El Dude

I bet the prices come down that far.

Ill keep my open for you.

I also bet you could pick up tix for around 20$ on lot.

  25. Gavinsdad Says:

Happy to help whoever needs it in the lot at JB. Just let me know.
