Deer Creek '00 (Distante)

Following up the last two downloads, this show completes Phish’s three-night run at Deer Creek in 2000. The second set featured, perhaps, the three most-often payed songs of summer in “Jibboo, “Sand,” and “Twist.” The strong playing of the second set continued with “Fee > What’s the Use? > Limb.”

I: Cars Trucks Buses , Wilson, It’s Ice, Bathtub Gin, Buffalo Bill, My Mind’s Got a Mind of its Own, Split Open and Melt, Sparkle, Funky Bitch, David Bowie

II: Gotta Jibboo, Sand, Twist, Fee > What’s the Use? > Limb By Limb, Loving Cup

E: Run Like an Antelope

actually won’t mind working the late shift the next 2 nights if there is a listenalbe stream. working till midnight, home by 12:20 east coast time means catching second set at home before bed.

(my life is kind of lame right now that this is something fun to look forward to, but the price and time is right)

It’s going to be a show-day decision for me to head down to JB. I really need it right now, though. A little road trip and some music to clear my mind is really called for.

  4. Gratefulcub Says:

Dude, Bring a $10, I will cover the difference. (because that’s as much as it will cost)

Scalpers lookin like fools with their tickets on the ground.

  5. SillyWilly Says:

Joe, you have no other choice but to come to JB.

if it was to another fan Silly, then don’t feel bad. Another drop in the karma bucket for not screwing him (or her).

…although, I’m not sure I buy the karma theory. I’ve done far more giving than receiving on the cheap or miracle ticket front. Guess it doesn’t work that way if you’re looking for it to come back to you.

Air Jaws on shark week now. Discovery channel. Bad ass!

  14. Luther Justice Says:

I had a friend who paid $240 for two DC tix last year. He couldn’t give them away. He would have loved getting $10 at least.

And he’s going to be there again this year looking like a fool with his tix on the ground.

  15. SillyWilly Says:

    shark week rocks!

I’m not a snob enough to condemn reality tv at all, but I’ve never even been interested enough to watch 1 second of big brother in all the years it’s been on.

  22. El Duderino Says:

sometimes you have to let the little lady have the tv remote

  23. Mr.Palmer Says:

I’ve watched it. My wife watches all that shit.

  24. El Duderino Says:

That’s how Lost got started for me. Otherwise I never would have watched either

Re discussion a few pages back about ejecting a stuck/invisible CD on a Mac:

Before doing the restart thing, it can be worth opening Disc Utility (in Applications > Utilities, or just search for Disc Utility). The CD may still show up on the list of mounted volumes in the left column; if so, select it and click the Eject button at the top of the panel. When I’ve done this, the CD ejects and the drive returns to normal operation afterwards.
