Deer Creek '00 (Distante)

Following up the last two downloads, this show completes Phish’s three-night run at Deer Creek in 2000. The second set featured, perhaps, the three most-often payed songs of summer in “Jibboo, “Sand,” and “Twist.” The strong playing of the second set continued with “Fee > What’s the Use? > Limb.”

I: Cars Trucks Buses , Wilson, It’s Ice, Bathtub Gin, Buffalo Bill, My Mind’s Got a Mind of its Own, Split Open and Melt, Sparkle, Funky Bitch, David Bowie

II: Gotta Jibboo, Sand, Twist, Fee > What’s the Use? > Limb By Limb, Loving Cup

E: Run Like an Antelope

  3. Gavinsdad Says:

  4. Gratefulcub Says:

Everyone has pop culture dirty little secrets, especially if you have a slf. Some of us just fess up to our Buffy love.

  5. Gratefulcub Says:

The slf and I might catch a little project runway.

    A little = 7 seasons 🙂

It’s nice to have options in this situation.

  9. joe Says:

did I just write that? so……

how much coverage is that Pitino story gettiing down there cub?

  10. Luther Justice Says:

Does anyone else think Criss Angel’s a real tool?

  11. Gratefulcub Says:

Dude, yeah uhhh right, I do it for her, I don’t secretly LOVE it

Joe, wall to wall, or blue Jesus to blue Jesus.

  12. Gavinsdad Says:

So which venue gets the treatment? AV or DC? Both storied venues…I have to check tour stats but I’d assume they’ve usually been back to back stops (probably certain years chitown was in the middle of the sandwich).

  13. Luther Justice Says:

DC just kicks Alpine’s ass with regards to sound. That’s why all the bands love it. It looks like the average shed, but looks can be deceiving.

  14. El Duderino Says:

DC has always been after AV when there is more than one show at each venue.

    Single nights…
    Different story

  15. El Duderino Says:

Not sure what DC will be like with such huge 5 shows before. I’m hoping they’re not tired

  16. Gavinsdad Says:

Word Dude…was just. Checking that out.

  17. Gratefulcub Says:

believe it’s always been dc>shitty ass drive>av. Can’t go wrong with either, but they destroy the crick on a regular basis.

  18. Billy Breathes Says:

DC will get the very special treatment due to sound, vibe and overall top contender for most phishy venue in the nation, hands down. It’s just a glorious place to be, gives me smiles just thinking about being there next week.

But AV will be smokin’ hot due to mainstream Chicago and Milwaukee crowd (ENERGY).

    2 cents.

  19. Gratefulcub Says:

Wrong as I was typing 😉

  20. DaNcInG fOoL Says:

    OMG NEW PHISH TOMORROWS

  21. joe Says:

daydreaming here and checking out teaching job openings in other parts of the country as my local search is leading to dead ends…anyway, just saw one in Hattiesburg, MS.

I already know I’d like one band in the area 🙂

  22. mr. murph Says:

El dude. I.thought you said you lived in Winston. Perhaps I was mistaken

  23. El Duderino Says:

    Alpine is a prettier venue

The pavilion is more dramatic too.

Love DC lawn Love AV pavilion and over all feel

  24. El Duderino Says:

    @ Murph

Was in Raleigh now in Charlotte

  25. halcyon Says:
