Deer Creek '00 (Distante)

Following up the last two downloads, this show completes Phish’s three-night run at Deer Creek in 2000. The second set featured, perhaps, the three most-often payed songs of summer in “Jibboo, “Sand,” and “Twist.” The strong playing of the second set continued with “Fee > What’s the Use? > Limb.”

I: Cars Trucks Buses , Wilson, It’s Ice, Bathtub Gin, Buffalo Bill, My Mind’s Got a Mind of its Own, Split Open and Melt, Sparkle, Funky Bitch, David Bowie

II: Gotta Jibboo, Sand, Twist, Fee > What’s the Use? > Limb By Limb, Loving Cup

E: Run Like an Antelope

@Luther Justice, i actually went to a wedding this weekend and the girl from EB&D (with the herpies on her mouth) was there, she was really chill. she told us the next seasons been filmed and said the only clue she was allowed to give was “don johnson”

then I realized Iā€™d have to beat my own ass if I did”

Are you feeling any better, AJ??

hope you’re on the up and up

  15. angryjoggerz Says:

Still feeling a bit crap, but getting better, at work. Yesterday was better than today, but could just be the bad weather/nerves, etc. No longer contagious, no fever and stuff, so all moving forward. Thanks for asking. Gonna have to take it a bit easy out there, but going for the music.

  16. Halden Says:

So how many BBers will be at the greek and how many will be couch touring?

I’m sure you’ll be good come thursday. Sounds like your on the upswing, just keep hitting the vitamin C, D and that ZINC!

  18. Robear Says:

@ AJ, just snagged ‘Orlando’s Afro Ideas’

what else to grab quick? too much to narrow down.

  19. SillyWilly Says:

I mean Im sure everyone in your life is giving you tips for how to beat this sickness, but

just make sure to keep drinking water and maybe some gatorade or other electrolyte drink.

    water goes a long way

but anyway, just hope it keeps getting better.

Morning guys…happy humpday! Time to get the tour balls rollin’…safe travels to all you westbound peeps.

@T3…great video. Have to say though, the sculptor stayed pretty calm. I think I’d have beat the reporter over the head a few times with his mike.

@KP and bhizzle…my story too. I passed up tix/trips to the RiL Halloween, the 95 Atl Fox run, the 97 Hampton two-fer, among others. Had a buddy that just blew off school for big chunks of tour…was always jealous. Oh well, enjoying myself now!

  21. angryjoggerz Says:

If you are a fan of Santana at all, I would grab the Luis Gasca album. Not “oy como va” style, Santana, more on the spiritual side. The Love Devition Surrender album is essential too, hope someone wakes up at Telluride and plays that one for the mountains.

The Soul Messages of Dimona lp is also heat, black americans who moved to Israel in a new afro-israellite movement in the 70’s which was centered on crazy funk rock music. Really something and very special.

For reggae, the Watch How the People Dancing comp is hot, more on a digital vibe but very soulful and good for the dance, very upbeat and uplifting. Ladies dig it too.

good way to look at it Leo! and remember, we can always live vicariously through the recordings/DVDs!

  23. bhizzle Says:

    couch tour

  24. bhizzle Says:

but don’t have the patience to stream…video blows most time and aud. is not nice at all. If I do stream it is to know instantly what the setlist is, but can pretty much do that by watching BB.

  25. bhizzle Says:

if they did iClips, like Treys or Hangout I’d watch tho
