I swear to god, last night I had a dream about Phish for the first time in years. I was back stage post-show, although it was really more of a merch table with Mike behind the booth like he was selling stuff, and Trey was out mingling. He was talking to me, all casual and chatty….don’t recall what about

but I remember I was fumbling for something for them to sign and all i could find was a Billy Breathes CD and i spent like 5 minutes trying to convince myself there was a photo in the liner notes w/ Mike and Trey together….and then it ended.

damn Tela, big statement. I feel it too, like everything up to this point has been a rehearsal and then bam, the band locks in and it all comes together.

I’ve been calling it for weeks and I’ll call it again: RIDE CAPTAIN RIDE

  22. Mr.Palmer Says:

I agree LW. That’s a good call. Curtain With opener tonight.

  23. lastwaltzer Says:

That would also be quite amazing. My favorite opener is the Cutrain>YEM from Worcester 97.

  24. jdub Says:

    I like that call Palmer.

i know i am. i am not a hype man. i don’t let expectations get the best of me. i’m not suggesting the playing will reach levels of Fall ’97. But I do think shit is gonna be magical, like ’97 was. With the venues, and the short time span of the Leg II tour, this is so special and unique. There is this electricity i’m feelin’. I don’t know, this week I’ve been feeling Jerry a lot. He seems to be very present. I think his spirit will really take a hold of the band.
