i guess i’m of the mind set that there’s a time and place for lossy….and remember, i don’t have the gear to appreciate lossless…but i still keep all my shows in FLAC for when the day comes! and to be able to up/post for others.
My Maxtor (200 gig) has been running beautifully for the last 3 or 4 years…knock on wood…I have been thinking about backinig up with a new 1 TB…thanks for the info KP (re: the newegg deals)…

@Dude – i rock mp3s because i need the space. Have a 160 gb I pod that i filled the day i got it. Have a 1tb and a 200gb HDs all filled with mp3s. Its a matter of spacing for me. I have to constantly negotiate what stays and what goes on the pod. Def get that FLAC are superior.
