75 dollar hold for me… That would be Saturday night in Charleston. I requested 3 on Friday. Not sure what the game plan is… we’ll see how my buddies made out.

Beautiful morning in Southwestern Virginia. Hitting up the cascades pretty soon, and then baning a friend up for the first time. Pumped.

    Have a good one.

any thoughts about this 8-5-09 shoreline show? I sampled the encore and loved it.

Set 2: Backwards Down the Number Line > Down with Disease > Limb By Limb, Oh! Sweet Nuthin’, Cities -> Maze, Mike’s Song > Simple > Weekapaug Groove

Good luck to all those hoping for holds! I’m gonna be busy all day for the first gameday of Alabama football in the shadows of Bryant-Denny Stadium. Roll Tide!

I think my head bobs more in sync to Mike’s than to Trey’s. I enjoy when the both are in sync too. what’s the use is so nice. needed it. bad mood at work on a Sunny Saturday.

very nice set of videos for the morning. thanks mr. miner

  9. kenny powers Says:

    no holds for me either.

damn Willowed, how do you feel grrrrrreat this morning? after that combination of beverages? i’m feeling a bit groggy myself after a bourbon (neat) and 4 or 5 beers.

  10. kenny powers Says:

    kaya

isn’t that cool how we get a new source a year later? psyched to check that out. remember it being an underrated show.

  11. AintNoTele Says:

ya’ll check them bank accounts! I gots me a $272 hold out of 10 tix, I guess thats 4 so I’ll take it

  12. Robear Says:

kaya, that was a great show, re: ’09 Shoreline. Disappears between Red Rocks and Gorge, but a great stop.

  13. AintNoTele Says:

I’m so psyched to actually hit, I’ve put in for a ton of tix every tour and only hit 1 MPP lawn and 1 charlotte lawn. I put in for AC and SC so I prob got charleston! So psyched

  14. AintNoTele Says:

BTW: CK5’s rainbow effect at 7:50 behind the stage during cities is freakin awesome. Trey is loving that jam taboot

  15. Robear Says:

oh, and btw, good morning Mr. Tosh. haven’t seen you around as much. back to school busy time and all.

Subbing on the Res can be a real downer. So many awesome young kids, that have little to no contact with their parents. Several being raised by grandparents, aunties and uncles. Parents too dangerous or wasted to be around their own kids.

Need a license to fish, drive, fly, but anyone can pop out kids.

I think I just figured out the worlds problems.

  16. Dr. Pronoia Says:

Unless I hit the 2 I put in for halloween (and even those I’ll probably trade or hook up some BB’er), I think I’m going to have to sit out the Fall.

Pregnancy is damn expensive, and I’m saving all my money and wifey capital for the MSG run that better be happening.

The weather is so beautiful out on Long Island today. It’s gonna be hard to justify watching college football on a day like this…

  17. El Duderino Says:

    No holds here either.

  18. El Duderino Says:

    Public On-Sale here I come!

  19. sumodie Says:

Thankfully not every credit card company shows holds on one’s account -patience! (or so I tell myself)

  20. Robear Says:

duder, they didn’t accept my request to join Week4paug.net.

Or they’re just slow to respond.

Or maybe I missed the trivia questions!

When it comes to the ’99 AUD recordings, I can’t tell a big difference between mp3 and Lossless. Listened to 12/16/99 out of Miner’s archive, and downloaded the FLAC from bt.etree.

  21. El Duderino Says:

    @ robear

Really? You can’t tell the difference?
    Night and Day my friend.

As far as week4paug.net, they’re a little slow.
    It’ll happen

  22. El Duderino Says:

Does Miner have the Neumann source or the Schoeps MK4V source?

  23. Robear Says:

def. not night and day with the AUD. recordings. Same stereo, same equipment. Not saying they’re the same, just not that different to my ears.

For a fair test, I’ll convert the WAV files from the FLAC’s to mp3 in iTunes and check again.

Maybe it’s just my ears. I do get “YOU DON’T LISTEN” quite a bit from the ladies.

Funny, that December ’99 run, I saw ‘Sand’ 4 times in about 7 or 8 shows. But only one ‘Tweezer’ and one ‘Mikes Groove’. I was dying at times for the oldskool.

12/13/99 Providence is my favorite ‘Sand’ of the 4 I caught that run.

  24. P.S.H.S. Says:

I saw four of those sands as well robear, I like the Portland one myself, however all are overshadowed by what happened in the Everglades. That tour is responsible for making sand my number one jam

  25. Robear Says:

that Portland run had the time shifting ‘Halleys’ and awesome ‘Piper’. Fun little run. I was outside vending fleece hats, gloves and sweaters.
