I’m about to rock out to “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs” sick solo towards the end. 😉

Morning all! Thanks for the stories Miner, ’98 Ghosts are good shit. Love this Winston-Salem one, I was supposed to road-trip to that show but had a damn test get in the way. Got in the photos in the Hampton Comes Alive box though 🙂

@DF – 240gig iPod would just be ludicrous amounts of music. I am skeptical of the “classic” ones now as I’ve had two with failed hard drives after owning them for 2 or 3 years, and from what I understand it’s not worth it to get them fixed. The iPod “frowny face” is really a kick in the ass. I’m sticking with shuffling music on and off the iPhone for now.

    sounds like a personal problem.

I think you have an e-hoarding addiction.

Morning BB. I have been a lurker on here for some time now and after reading back on last night’s discussion, feel I have to come out of the shadows and give you guys all major props. I am a middle aged fan of the greatest band on earth and find that you guys not only hold down the music discussions with great intelligence and taste, but, you guys (and gals) really have some awesome discussions about life, philosophy, football (and **bell). I’ve been addicted to reading this board for the last 6 months or so. I have to say that it is pretty refreshing to see a bunch of dudes take care of each other with honest, open discussion without all the layers of B/S we generally have to deal with. Mitch, I feel for ya. Had the same kind of situation some time back and the only thing I have to say about it is, try to spin it 180 degrees. Every door closed is another one opening. I had my heart broken and it turned out to be the best thing. The timing was perfect for me to meet my wife after I cleared my head up. Sooo, as they said, this too shall pass. Take it light!

  16. b-rock Says:

@kaya you and me both. Good combo so far…

  17. b-rock Says:

oh — no + in my cube… it’d be a lot cooler if there was!

  19. kayatosh Says:

welcome, phuzzy. there are some dudettes here, as well.
Nice complement to us in the “bunch of dudes” category.

  20. kayatosh Says:

    bring an edible next time.

  21. kayatosh Says:

I salute all of you that report to a cube or 4 wall office each day. Remember you are not defined by your surroundings, even though you feel the sterility creeping into your psyche.

  22. DukeOfLizards Says:

    @b-rock

I *think* that that was an issue that was fixed after a few generations of ipods, but I could be wrong.

240 gig ipod? Shit, why not just go 480?

    Five. Fucking. Blades.

  23. kayatosh Says:

this 11-19-98 ghost just got cool for me at the 10:30 mark.

  24. halcyon Says:

    Happy Tuesday.

    Welcome aboard Phuzzy.

  25. SillyWilly Says:

    Phuzzy,

    stop by more often!

unless of course you have… I don’t know… work or something.

    but, work is overrated.
