  6. Luther T. Justice Says:

Well peeps, I’ve got to get ready to watch my weekly No Cal motorcycle gang show, Sons of Anarchy.

  9. Dr. Pronoia Says:

I have an 8 page single spaced word document on my desktop that I copy and paste the GD recommendations from the board onto. For when I have more time and HD space to download.

Really, without this master class every day I’d have no outlet for my Dead interest beyond a few close friends. Usually lurk during those convos but I really appreciate the cumulative wisdom!

  10. Hoedown Says:

2nd set Hershey should be known as “The Mike Gordon Show”. His bass sounded amazing in that joint.

  11. Leo Weaver Says:

I love it when the bane guy stops by…and red wine 8)

@neemor…good to see you around here lately man…hope everything’s going alright for you. As someone posted a day or so ago…I hate your boss.

@LJ…hopefully you’re still lurking out there while watching your weekly No Cal motorcycle gang show…what are your Chucktown chances looking like? hit me up on email.

  12. guitarpicker420! Says:

The best way to get into the Dead, or any band for that matter, is to just sit down and listen to it. It doesn’t take long before you find out what you like and what you don’t. If you already like and understand jamming, it isn’t hard to appreciate what they are doing.

  13. Leo Weaver Says:

red wine…with Mrs. Weaver on the porch enjoying a nice Carolina fall evening.

damn, having trouble finishing the thoughts.

  14. neemor Says:

    Thanks, leo….I lurk, I lurk.

There is still something about this place.

  15. butter Says:

    that sounds great Leo

  16. butter Says:

  17. butter Says:

  18. Mr.Palmer Says:

neems- you planning on hitting AC?

  19. neemor Says:

    If I get a ticket, Palmer…
Otherwise…Providence, Maybe Amherst one and two….
I’d love AC (any) and Woosta and MSG

  20. neemor Says:

I leave it up to you cats…

  21. Dr. Pronoia Says:

    Hey Neemor!

Yeah, GP420, I’ve been listening for years but the sheer number of great shows still boggles my mind. Always good to learn from those way more knowledgeable than I am

  22. jdub Says:

Neemor, We should carpool to Providence. I have a place for you to crash as well.

I revisited 11/22/97 this evening. That first set is off the hook, people would explode if they opened a show any time soon with a Mike’s Groove of that magnitude.

  23. Lycanthropist Says:

    @Leo

turns out i may have a night or two open yet this weekend if you are around.

Heading to charlotte tomorrow, might be up for some thurs night drinks?

  24. KWL Says:

    prepare for explosion 10/10/10

  25. Mr.Palmer Says:

It’s pretty much a lock when a show opens with Mike’s your in for a treat.

    11/22/97
    12/11/99
    4/3/98

    just 3 examples.
