Kids over on hoodstream are saying that Hood was cut off for Light.

guess we’ll have to wait and see, but i hope trey’s over that.

  2. Rivertrance Says:

nothing like accidentally reading the 15 year old chicks opinions on what the show must be like from seeing it on paper on the phish website looking for the setlist

  3. butter Says:

its just the way he starts those power chords to Light

could cut right thru anything, any time any place

  4. butter Says:

    yea River its a problem

  5. SillyWilly Says:

    yeah, butter

    you’re right.

There’s a few kids chatting on Hoodstream periodically who are there, and they keep saying that Trey sounds pretty good.

    that sounds promising.

  6. neemor Says:

Just an absolute nostalgia set combined with greatest hits of 2010 Summer Tour.
All making perfect sense and really giving me a warm feeling in my tummy…

    What’s the word, Couch Tour?

  7. neemor Says:

“Kids over on hoodstream are saying that Hood was cut off for Light.

guess we’ll have to wait and see, but i hope trey’s over that.”

Keep in mind, Silly…it’s the tour opener.

  8. SillyWilly Says:

it’s the proverbial: Can’t judge it til we hear it, neemor.

  9. SillyWilly Says:

    word, neemor.

  10. Tba Says:

Every show should be pay per view; cut down on scalping, let lazy F### like me enjoy on my pioneer 151 with Klipsch suround, and let Phish earn $$$. actually The Who used to do webcasts free in 2006 I think it was, then Daltrey bitched, cause unlike Townsend, he did not invent the internet :<)-Towner said that one show before pure and Easy, "I invented the WWW" i think it was :<) freak.

  11. neemor Says:

    Mike’s opening the Second set?

    Sally in there somewhere.
    Maybe a Timber.

Then the grease’ll lube the wheels for the Tweezer

  12. Kevin Says:

Keep in mind, it’s ACL. If you expected anything other than a straightforward greatest hits rocker, you were delusional. I mean this in the nicest way possible, of course:)

  13. neemor Says:

“Every show should be pay per view”

I’m warming up to this idea somewhat.

  14. phoammhead Says:

check back on page 24 – see message to Jtran – i’m going to try to help you guys – no bites, yet

  15. phoammhead Says:

    RT called it . .

  16. neemor Says:

It should be a hits show, Kevin…I think.
It’s ACL, this one will live in in posterity for semi-Phish fans…they want to leave a lasting impression.
    Hence, well-practiced songs, some sing-alongs…
    I expect a Cavern, too…things like that.
Piper and Melt may sit this one out for Sand and First Tube.

  17. neemor Says:

Actually seems to be a neat way to kick off a tour, no?

  18. SillyWilly Says:

    Thanks a lot, man!

yeah, I think we ended up backing out of a craig’s list thing this afternoon.

Jtran felt sketched out from the correspondence (or lack of).

I really believe in trusting your gut on stuff like that.

  19. Kevin Says:

Totally agree, Neemor. It’s the most appropriate course.

  20. SillyWilly Says:

I was actually just thinking, @neemor, that this was a great warm-up for Broomfield.

get the energy up, smooth everything out in a live setting, then melt faces in Colorado.

  21. Kevin Says:

Chances of a Genesis album on 10/31?

  22. neemor Says:

    Yup, Silly.
Looking back at the set, though…these are some heavy hitters, no?
    No Ocelot, Poor Heart’s, etc….
    Heavy set.
Must feel thick in real life.

  23. Tba Says:

How about the delfonics (or should I say Delphonics) for ‘Ween :<)

Those of us with wives would definitely benefit, and that band is from philly. Half joking…

  24. phoammhead Says:

I agree @neemor – all star set, for sure!

  25. SillyWilly Says:

2 hour set challenged them to make some decisions on song choice.

Looks like they decided to give a showcase of their best.

They knew they could go full bore for the entirety of a long set.
