In a reprise of the mini BB meetup that angryjoggerz and I had on Saturday I suggested to my buddy’s we hit the bar AJ took me to.
The place is Fat Cat in Andersonville. Not being rude and knowing that AJ lived in the hood I decied to mention we’d be having drinks their and if he would stop by, awesome. Short notice, you understand.
He reply’s with, well my friends are having pre-game for LCD at FatCat so I might as well stop by. In true BB fashion I end up meeting a great crew of people who more than take care of me in the show.
They scramble for huger section of the balcony where my friends and AJ’s crew (AJ having already gone home for the sake of his new job) kick it all night.
Hot chip came on and it was very impressive. This is YAZ meets Gomez meets Daft Punk. Good but not great opener.
Then LCD come on and the vibe at the Riviera went through the roof. From song one it was apparent I was seeing something special. This is Modest Mouse meets Talking Heads also meets Daft Punk. Simply amazing.
Great highs and lows though out the show.
This is a most catch outfit as I here this groups life will expire due to change gigs and such within the band. catch them now if you can.
Tanks again to Angryjoggerz and his crew for having our back all night and thank you LCD for a good one.

Lumpy it was awesome. That venue has been good to me over the years.
Funny how that works out. Some venues always seem to get the good ones.
AJ’s crew went to ACL as much to see LCD as Phish.

I was just thinking Phish should play the Time Warp.
