I’m about to stand four feet away from mike gordon for 2.5 hours… Stoked!
lycan
I totally agree with Ghost, KWL was bringing this up as well. There was some sweet sounds played there.
I really enjoyed the Mikes from Broomfield too
yeh that second set is pretty good to me..
guess it loses a little steam in the Fee Makisupa, but the jam out of Fee is straight up Radiohead territory.. love it.
^i like augusta more than manchester.
So, uhm… There’s no footbell on stage… Should I demand my money back from Mike?
@garret – don’t worry, mike told me he was going to play his silent, invisible footbell tonight.
Trey’s slow motion playing during early first set jams this summer and fall seem Little Feat related to me.
Stealing Time and Ocelot specifically and especially.
Maybe Trey was working on something or maybe I’m just looking for it but I hear it.
MNF is a good one so far.
Admiral Ackbar freaking kills me. Hilarious.
holy crickets its been slow here. I think there were more comments during the Utica couch tour then since Saturday. I hope that means that everyone has been busy and doing well.
lol i totally forgot they did a golden age cover this fall
That cover was the goods, too. Golden Age… 12/31 Set 3?
@jeffie, i was literally just thinking the same thing. well sometime in the 5 new years shows in general
What are you hitting on the run DF?
all 5 shows
you?
Just NYE… I’d love more, but I’m psyched as hell for what I have.
10/29 Cities is absolutely fantastic. I like it a lot more than the Greek version. much more creative. I don’t think the Greek version held up… great energy moment, but fairly standard and close to the theme.
word… well, AC cities goes into that psychedelic realm, but greek cities is just straight up dance music all the way through
Word. You know anything about Cicero, or Pre-empire Rome?
Sounds like Mike is tearing shit up.
Anyone in the Worcester area this Friday, or Albany on the 15th, or Burlington on 12.2m go check out Kung Fu.
The guitar player is one of my faves, Tim Palmieri from The Breakfast, with RAQ keys player, etc…good time.

AC Piper is a very weird one
Unfortunately I did not see Phish in 2010.
However, I just witnessed the greatest cover of Cities ever played in Portland, OR tonight. Incredible show.
Thanks Miner for all your work!
@rendog
Couldn’t agree more!
Cities was toooooooo dope!
Mike’s band killed it up there tonight!
Will this line, like the others, be slightly longer?
Haha, oh man… Anyways, great show, kids got their Middle of the Road request played, and apparently the Portland ladies LOVE Mike (Soft G) Gordon. Oh, and I got to play Mike’s effect box!!! That’s my solo before Spiral, if anybody is planning on listening from home. Which you should, because it was an awesome show!
Also, met Mr. C, that was cool. Thanks for getting me in, “step-dad”! Hope you and the missus enjoyed yourselves!
