Tight 2nd tier list @Palmer…caspian and Wilson! But it’s true. Man I liked that Corinna so much I may have to put it on right now. I don’t say Phish is classy often but that Corinna had a touch of class.

    @gdad

I’d be careful about referring to a “seamless tranny” you saw in AC.

A lot of shows had some high quality moments for sure. I would say every show had some high quality moments. Augusta gets slept on a bit being that it was so out of the way and rightfully overshadowed by Utica.

    Torn and Frayed
    light>20yL
    Gin
    46 days
    Gumbo
    JJLC
    Hood
    and of course Reba

    all hot versions

  4. parallaxogram Says:

I love how Fishman seems to initiate the improv in the Augusta Reba. He starts to stall and drop out and open it up and mike and trey follow. When I heard that the next day I was blown away. Haven’t heard a Reba like that in recent memory.

  5. Gavinsdad Says:

Many Mikes @pageside. Kind of bizarre. More than a third of the shows Ive seen had a Mikes.

    this 10.29 I is a great set

I got put off by sections live cuz I was being a jaded fuck but the band is on and Trey is playing nice leads throughout

Light up is just nasty. deserves several listens.

Timber has some dirty fishman and Mike grooves goin. great version.

top shelf cities and another rockin 46 days to close

I didn’t give this enough respect originally.

live I remember liking it once the Light up Jam came around and loved the Cities.

real clean rockin set with some real nice improv highlights.

  10. Mr.Palmer Says:

I was pimping that Light Up as soon as i heard it live and the following day as well. I got a bunch of crickets from the peanut gallery. Seems it’s getting its just due. I thought maybe i was hyping it too much because it was my first and i was just over excited to hear it. Nice to know my ears still work…

  11. Mr.Palmer Says:

I was also kind of “meh’ about that set until the Light up. Was like a bolt of electricity which lasted through the rest of the weekend.

Gdad- blazing about to commence, along with the With……

  12. Mr.Palmer Says:

Message to Trey- Stop playing Mango until you remember your parts. Sorry Mitch. :)

    Love Song

I’ve got so much to say, when you’re leaving
I’ve got so much to say, when you’re halfway out the door
I should have said how much you’re needed
I should have said it long before
But when you’re here I’m tongue tied
You look at me, let out a sigh
    Kiss my cheek so tenderly
    I never said goodbye
So these are the words that I kept in
The ones that never left my mouth
The sounds and vowels that should have been
That should have been out loud
I pray that you can hear me
    Wherever you have gone
And if you’re out there listening
    I’m singing you a song
