Weekend Nuggets: Tour Finales
Our long and winding road through Decembers of lore has finally come to an end. On December 17, 1995, Lake Placid’s finale concluded a monumental 54-show fall tour whose size would never be approached again. On December 18, 1999, in Hampton, Virginia, Phish punctuated their second tour of fallΒ — a two-week millennial prep course for the event of their lives. In each case, Phish spun two sets of celebratory anthems, crafting upbeat shows to send their fans home for the holidays. Enjoy the final step on our journey through Decembers past, because Worcester is only nine days away!

The final piece to the gargantuan puzzle of Fall ’95.

It’s hard to beat nearly 40 minutes of grooves to start off a set. This was the end of 1999; Y2k was upon us, and we were heading into Chief Jim Billie’s territory.

@ Palmer
Someone made homemade “bane” jolly ranchers?
testing the good vibes of the board (and think it doesn’t really go against anybody’s rooting interests). I need Arizona -2.5 and Clevleand +1.5 to come back in the second halves of their games. If these 2 come in, I have a good chance of pulling ahead in my pick em pool for the year. Winner gets about $2K. mama needs a new pair of shoes. (still three weeks left. a little to early to call in the karma squad, but let’s give it a test run. thanks)
word plord
I try to put in 30min to an hour a day
I’m hoping before I die I learn a lick or two myself. been studying consistently since I got clean in 2004
so hard to keep up on an instrument working 10 hour days
slowly but surely picking away though
now I’m really out
boring ass football today

Dude- yes, from a dispensary in Cali.
plord, did I ever tell you the coin arrived? thanks man, will accompany me on all my phishing expeditions going forward.
I’m a turrible guitar player. But I do sound better hacking away on my buddy’s acoustic Martin, than on my own starter Alvarez.
Palmer:
Nicks is the man. You were on that first. Sadly the team I have him on didn’t make the playoffs, but we’re kicking booty in the consolation round!
sounds delicious Palmer.
Nice Robear π
I love my Martin HD-28, best dreadnaught eva’
so…5.1 more working days till Phish!!! and some kind of gift giving holiday in between.
Joe, you MSG bound and down?
nope. Just Worcester for me. .05% chance that I’ll do a crazy down and back trip for the 1/1 show but not very likely. I’ll have hit 7 shows this year, which is about my average since 1994, so I don’t really feel that bad about it. I’m just going to try to crash someone’s streaming party. who’s got my heady invite?
funny that I feel like a slacker of a fan for only seeing 7 shows in a year.
try explaining to a non-fan that only having seen about 75 shows in your lifetime isn’t really that much.
ok. off to finish some paperwork and go home to prepare for the pats game tonight.
^joes a noob π
i’ve been seeing phish since 1991 and i’ve seen more shows this year than any in year in the past > i finally graduated from noob status π
@dude, click my name link, I put a pic of the guitar on my mediafire. She’s just chillin’ on the couch. There are a bunch of pro shots on Scott’s web pages in the galleries, too; If you go to this pic: http://tinyurl.com/nr8pum
…and then hit the right arrow button there’s 10 more pix of it.
Happy Sunday, Boarders.
Spasm, you as unsure as I am what’s going to happen to our Stillas this afternoon?
Not so unsure as long as we play our game and get the offense going this week.
Jets are desperate.
Worries me a bit.
Wish the Saints could give us some breathing room…
Good luck to everyone’s respective teams.
Unless your team has a bird in it’s logo.
Donning the #43 jersey now….
Even though the Flowin’ Samoan’s not playing this week.
@plord
Damn… Gorgeous!
good afternoon boys.
i don’t know why you guys are watching all these silly games today.
the varsity is playing tonight at 8:30
and you know this…..man
that’s a nice looking axe plord!!
Paypal question:
I entered in “xxxx@gmail.com” and paypal told me there was no account linked to that address. I then entered “xxxxx” and I didn’t receive any error message. Can people set up user names or whatever on paypal that don’t end in an e-mail address? Just want to make sure my money’s going to the right place.
I think I just answered my own question by trying to send myself money. Names need to end in @domain.com
@ plord, wow, I want to touch that guitar.
@Plord
She’s beautiful!
If she had black Harmonic Design Z-90’s she would look just like the Tiger from ’87…
LIONS! LIONS! LIONS!
