Happy Holidays!

10.31.10 (Graham Lucas)

I’ll be taking some time off between now and Worcester. I’ll likely post some thoughts at some point, but probably not for a few of days. Happy Holidays to all!

In the meantime, enjoy these Worcester gems that just missed December!

    @poop

    which of those albums did you have on the other week, earl or tyler?

  2. Guyute711 Says:

    @lw
    Exit Through the Gift Shop was hilarious. A lot of really cool art in that movie and obviously some crappy stuff too.

  3. poop goblin Says:

    yeah thanks for the support

    K is doing fine. I’m taking the Worcester news a little tough though

    it was Earl LW. we spun them both last night when cooking dinner. although I love them both Bastard seems to deal more with Earl dealing with the father he never had than just the violent aspects that flood the Earl record. I dig em both. but bastard isn’t quite as hardcore. Tyler does the beats on both albums.

    both me and my girl still amazed after several spins how talented this Tyler kid is

    EARL

    Word, definitely going to grab those when I get in, those beats were definitely psychedelic, almost reminded me of Animal Collective, but that could have just been the one track.

    When I was in college, for some reason, I ended up watching that preacher several times at like 4 AM after coming down from a trip. I’d be changing the channel and then not be able to break free from his Jesus spell. But One Day at a Time did the same thing. That was due to the Snyder spell though.

  14. lastwaltzer Says:

    @guyute

    glad you enjoyed the flim. It really was too funny.

    I have been reading that many people believe Mr. Brainwash is actaully a “piece” by banksy and ferry, if thats the truth its 20x funnier.

    I got roped in by that dude Jole Osteen one day

    His sweet, sweet voice is like a beautiful symphony washing over me…..wait, what the fuck did I just say

  16. Guyute711 Says:

    There is one older woman who preaches and does yoga or some shit like that while she talks. I have been stuck watching that before.

    Hey all,

    Sorry to hear about everyone’s grandparents, that is very hard. I hope everyone gets through it and focus on their life when they were living it well.

    I am getting excited about MSG, just have to make it through Christmas, which is hands down my least favorite holiday. Oh well, it is not all bad, fun to see my 1 year old diggin the lights and nice to see my family.

    I am ready to burst into song and unwind, and to leave my new life behind for a while.

  19. Dr. Pronoia Says:

    ^^ amen AJ

    Just to clarify about the MSG broadcasts, do you have to watch them live or can you start late, watch again, etc?

  20. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

    best wishes to those with ill family. Grandmothers may be one of the suckiest ones to deal with since most of us have such fond memories of being doted on. I know it was for me last year when my 100 year old nana passed. Good vibes and good health to you and yours.

  21. angryjoggerz Says:

    Any word on the meet up on the 30th? Some NY-er needs to pick a reasonable spot near MSG and just do it. Also, if we can call in advance and reserve a big table, probably would be wise (not sure if that is likely, though).

  22. lastwaltzer Says:

    @Dr.P

    I doubt you would be able to start whenever, I would imagine your buying a live feed.

    I would hope they offer these for download or even cheaper ppv a few weeks later for those who were there.

  23. poop goblin Says:

    AJ

    we are staying at Ace hotel

    Gavins may be swinging by for a few cocktails before on the 30th

    they supposedly have a decent bar and is fairly close

    I don’t drink much though so I always prefer any kind of meet up to be of the herbal kind but could maybe do something there.

  24. P.S.H.S. Says:

    not having cable installed in my new place is great for being a new daddy, not so great for couch tour.

  25. fat bastard Says:
