Headed home after a truly great run.

The tapes will tell the story tomorrow but I have never danced as hard as I did during Sally tonight.

Spent a couple minutes during Simple trying to figure out what song they were playing before I realized it was still a jam

    Hot hot stuff.

  3. BrandonKayda Says:

Same here. I was like “Trey’s seguing into something else…or not…..hey this is really picking up…is this a song?”

Essentially same reaction I had to AC Sand

Downloading the stream video and the SBD of tonight right now – so psyched to watch/listen to this tomorrow

  4. Lumpyhead Says:

My favorite phish show that I’ve seen since the return FUCKING EASILY.

  5. DukeOfLizards Says:

Yeah man. By the way, thanks for a year of highly enjoyable e-mails. You’re a trooper.

Counting down the seconds before I can spin last night’s Ghost again.

  6. BrandonKayda Says:

No problem. I have recently started doing that with PT too. There are actually some nice people there – definitely some assholes though

Best show of 2011, hands down, no question.

  14. gavinsdad Says:

that show was worth any trouble i might walk into here on the homefront. nice to see so many of you up in NYC…band was next level a few times tonite. Fishman continues to amaze. Really nice memory will be standing next to Palmer when he got his C&P. so cool…and the best version i’ve heard to date.

    nite ya’ll. thanks for playing.

Whatever happened between Crosseyed and Bowie we must never speak of again.
    Certainly not in mixed company.

Just got to a place to plug in my phone and come up for air. Fan freaking tastic night on all counts. They absolutely floored me with that show. Consider me sold on experiencing IT as the hose sprays profusely all over the eager crowd. Great playing, inspired crowd. Unreal energy in that room and Trey was manipulating it every which way.

    Pardon my addled rambling.

Neemor I trust you made it home ok?

  19. purplehumpbackwhale Says:

neemor – cant believe i missed you tn. was hoping to bump into you while roaming. glad you had as good a time as i did. had a blast burnin banesticks and bumpin to that tweezer tho.

also had a blast burnin banesticks with jtran and garret up in 400’s behind stage tn… what a sick location. i roamed all night checkin out diferent views and areas… but that spot was bumpin.

was cool to meet some bbers i hadnt met before like AW, aj, and butterfly, and garret and df. it was also cool so see some BBers i hadnt seen for a while, like kwl (who gave me two joints this run) gavinsdad (who bumped me up to floor night 1 with neems) and Robear, who besides being the nicest guy ever, also hooked up df, who had originally gotten shut out of msg posters.

saw the BB come together in a million ways throughout this run. seriously cant even think of all the BB interactions that went down, between tix, crashspace, bane, the bars, and just around the shows.

its 4am… will porbly repost this tomorrow.

  20. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

That above doesn’t make sense. I’m sold on being right behind the band watching their view as the whole thing happens.

    Illness out.

    Had fun, purp…til next time.
Glad you raged strong all weekend, the force is strong in there.
Goes for all you next gen’s.
That’s a big, scary venue and you guys held it down.
Second set had no less than three massive time warp/mind-erasing anti-structures built in…download at your own risk.
Find ’em and pin a big shiny gold star on your forehead.
    You’ve earned it blackboard.

  24. neemor Says:

About to squish my my my my soul into a big, foamy bed.

  25. purplehumpbackwhale Says:

im gonna need a couple weeks to figure some stuff out and do somestretching of the mindgrapes before i can actually say whether i liked set 2 tn or set 2 yesterday better.

still kind of in a daze
