  5. Mr.Miner Says:

agreed @ looks like he is pretending…well, you know…

  6. Mr.Palmer Says:

Miner- you see the mega million jackpot was 380 million yesterday?

The winning numbers: 4,8,15,25 47,42… look familiar?

  7. joe Says:

I love the part in the video when they are going from the stage to the hotdog with the best smiles. just for themselves, not for the audience…also feel like you can see how deeply trey appreciated the auld lang syne moment with the closeup of him while playing.

  8. Mr. Completely Says:

    well now @pham

that is really a lot to have on your plate. kudos to you for dealing with it now as opposed to letting it all explode in your face.

FWIW there are more than a few of us on here with darkness in out past. Mine doesn’t revolve around addiction but it’s still there. So beleive me, no judgments on the past actions.

I know all about being crazy and trying to work your way out into the light.

  9. Phamily Berzerker Says:

Thanks for the vibes, Team BB!

I aplogize for the vibe crushing as well.

I used to have a high opinion of myelf and my actions, turns out I was just high and not mindful of the mayhem I was dispatching.

My wife and girls need the thoughts moreso than I as I victimized them without their direct knowledge for some time.

    working to right my wrongs

Do not do what I have done! Ain’t worth it no matter what.

  10. Mr. Completely Says:

I was born crazy and raised in a world that pushed me further that way…but the bottom line was that I enjoyed it. Enjoyed getting away with things. That was the hardest part to break myself of. The satisfaction that came from a dirty deed done with professional elan.

Still comes up now and then. Find myself putting together harebrained schemes….

  11. snowbank Says:

just popping in for a bit…
    Happy New Year y’all.

great write-ups for the Holiday Run MR M. I have enjoyed them all.

Keep looking forward @phamb. better days ahead.

How about them Phish? pretty good. pretty, pretty, pretty good.

  12. Robear Says:

@ joe, I like Fishman’s t-shirt. Will be interesting to see how many young phishies will now be on the lookout for that symbol @ shows.

  13. Leo Weaver Says:

Best wishes on a full recovery and re-org @PB. We’re pulling for ya.

  14. Mr. Completely Says:

well it is right of you to think of them first

what they need most of all, I would think, it to have a new and improved version of you, back on your feet, strong and together

so anything which furthers that process is for the good

as for the vibe -we were starting to talk in circles anyway. nothign wrong with things getting real for a minute

  15. themanatee Says:

best of luck PB – strength and love

  16. sumodie Says:

@PB: Keep up the good honest work in 2011! You are far from unique in doing stupid shit -I’ve done a fair amount myself. Owning up to it never gets easy, but it is worth it

    Peace to you & yours

  17. Robear Says:

word PB. vibes to the whole pham.

listening to this ‘maki’. had to run to the booth during SOME song. they left me no choice in that set. broke down booth in record time, only missed about half. gooey.

  18. Mr. Completely Says:

“recovery” isn’t really the right word though is it?

guys like you and me that were born crazy, we’re not ‘recovering’ to some previous state of being that was better

we have to learn how to act human from scratch. tough. lack of reference points makes it tricky

having a sociopathic edge makes it easy to defeat mere mortals in most kinds of conflict and competition but implies a total lack of intuitive boundaries…

  19. butterflyeffect Says:

@PB thank you for sharing all my love to you as you create anew

  20. plord Says:

@phamB, keep working at it man, we’re all behind you all the way. It takes a lot just to man up and start the process, so you’ve already passed one test.

Also, I have something for you. Drop me a line at plord at there dot org with a mailing address.

  21. jtran Says:

    Vibes to yiu PB

Sounds like you’re on the right track now. Keep it up, it’ll all be worth the effort I’m sure

  22. ThePigSong Says:

Much love at ya pham b!

It takes balls to air your dirty laundry like that, respect.

  23. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

good vibes to you on this part of your journey, pham b! sounds like you are headed in the direction you want to be now.

  24. Robear Says:

    should read:

    ‘Makisuper > David Bowie*’

    *with Ill Communication

  25. sumodie Says:

Anyone else think the band has started taking a little more pronounced bow at some of the shows this year? AC comes to mind, MSG too. As if they know they’ve really got their shit together so why not pause to receive our adulation? (Which I think they’ve more than earned)

As mentioned about Fishman’s photo from the nye hotdog, it’s been very refreshing to see the giddy looks on their faces -the band has been looking so thoroughly happy. Just four regular down to earth guys who just happen to have the coolest job on the planet. Love it!
