    Nike should bring back pumps

    @ jdub
I think that was the brain child of Reebok

    Now that’s a spicy meatball.

If you find someone sporting these on summer tour, you found willowed. Those shits are dope!

My yoga teacher says i practice “Vinyasa” yoga

she likes 5-6 minute songs to make up her “yoga playlist”

she wants to add MSG Simple but says it’s way to long

any suggestions for a simple program for my mac to edit some music?

i just figured out how to make only a segment of a track play in itunes

by going to “get info” in itunes on a track, then going to “options” you can make only certain parts of a track play
there is a “start” and “stop” field, you enter a time and check the start and stop box

example: my MSG Simple plays 9:30-11:45 now

i’m guessing it’ll play like that on the ipod after its synced

Serious yogi’s wouldn’t practice to Phish or any other music like that

    Bouba Car Treore` (sp?)

    Ali Fake Toure`

things like that, that are soothing, usually nothing with words(lyrics)
What’s cool about the W. African music is you don’t understand the language. If it was english you end up focusing on the speech of the music, and it’s very distracting

  17. butter Says:

    thanks Pigtail

  18. butter Says:

Serious yogi’s wouldn’t practice to Phish or any other music like that

^you just say shit Dude, thats just some crap right there

  19. EL Duderino Says:

i’m telling you Rock music and serious practice are not done.
    It’s not an insult Butter…

If you choose to do it at your home that’s fine but 99.9% of Yoga studios will not be playing Rock music during sessions or any other time. PERIOD

  20. butter Says:

and actually after hour and fifteen minutes of intense physical work, when a nice little “Free” comes on it’s pure bliss mixed with some motivation…..far from distracting

  21. butter Says:

i guess i’m in the right class then

  22. butter Says:

Curtian With = dope yoga music

and you know damn well Dude all of Phish’s music isn’t rock

  23. EL Duderino Says:

The great thing about yoga is.. whatever works for you.

You like Vinyasa Butter… Thats fantastic. It was my favorite discipline.

I lived and breathed this life for a while, worked and studied the teacher training classes that lasted 9 months, practiced 5 days a week, and worked at the premier studio in Chicago. I wasn’t disrespecting, but I do know what I’m talkin’ about

  24. kayatosh Says:

I like practicing with no music lately, but have practiced to phish many times and loved it. sometimes the music can give you energy. phish is fair game for yoga.

Now you got me thinking about a phish themed practice. it’s now on my list. see where the music takes me.

  25. EL Duderino Says:

The whole thing of Yoga is to have a strong core with with a soft velvet cover. a combination of strength, flexibility, stamina but also able to be soft supple relaxed in mind and body…
