i’m just thrilled so many people here are interested in yoga.

butter is chill and i don’t think he was bitchin. butter doesn’t bitch. he speaks his mind intelligently.

    peace and good night.

thats just the thing Kaya, your last post is on point

Dude just does not get to get to decide what a “Serious Yogi” is or what they spin…..sorry

    One more topic.
    (les analytical…I think)
I am not sure if you want to go here or not but I was really taken back by this.

One thing I did notice is that Blizzard and all, that Woosta centrum was packed to the gills. People drove thru blizzard conditions to get in that building. It really impressed me as a fan base the deadication and commitment we have. maybe you can tie that into the spirit of the community or something. Impressions of the new vibe and state of the 3.0 fan base.

  5. butter Says:

i meant kaya’s last post on the last page

  6. phoammhead Says:

actually, giving opinions about yoga is kinda . . . well, downwarddogmatic, no? 🙂

I would like to see a 10 for Friday which is a “Best of ’10 under 10” with 10 of the hottest songs under 10 minutes in 2010, that really show off the get to it and get it done mentality of 2010.

  8. angryjoggerz Says:

I nominate Roggae and Timber from the holiday run.

  9. Mr. Palmer Says:

    Yogi bear was cool.

  10. Gavinsdad Says:

I dug alot of Miners commentarys/essays on the scene and touring and community in general. Those reflective posts were far easier to channel and create when the band wasn’t playing I betcha!

    Best BB day ever

See what happens when I’m not leading the intelligent discussion

@Miner One that might be good for sometime within the next couple of weeks/months would be posts devoted to the evolution of particular songs, or notable versions of those songs. One day (or week depending on how in-depth to each song you want to get) could cover Tweezer, the next could be Mike’s Groove, the next YEM…

Not necessarily a list of your favorite versions per se, but maybe a review of notable versions from different eras. Like for Tweezer you could review an early 1991-92 version maybe, then 93 as it gets more open ended, 94-95 where its anything goes, cowfunk era, 2.0 all the way up to the present and so on.

    Just a thought.

  13. Gavinsdad Says:

    Reflections if you will.

(yogi bear…that’s some funny shit @Palmer)

  14. halcyon Says:

perhaps some show comparisons a la the Super Bowl

Alpine Valley’s Vs. Star Lake / Hershey / Pitt.

    Simple from 1/1 is nice.

    LOL @ AW

  15. Gavinsdad Says:

Not to totally swing it back that way but if Guyute711 isn’t known as “shit tent” from here on out thats a crime.

  16. verno329 Says:

@aj I like the ’10 under 10 thing. That would be cool to see. -7 from the Greek obviously 😉

  17. Gavinsdad Says:

^what Verno said. Great idea…and I love getting that type of insight From Miner and the rest of you.

  18. Mr. Palmer Says:

like sumo said earlier, shit tent only works with a fully functional sling shot. A sling shot that is aimed at the nitrous mafia.

  19. verno329 Says:

    @GD LOL!

  20. butter Says:

    possible scenario at F9

where’s Guyute’s tent, my new girfriend just did a bump and needs to use his tent….

and hurry over to the RV camping cuz Dude is teaching yoga

  21. angryjoggerz Says:

shit tent blew my mind earlier

Seeing Bowie get lifted at SPAC and hearing it develop into a monster again has been one of my highlights of ’10. That and Stash’s revival. Woosta Stash to my ears is so beautiful. Very delicate and crystalline. Almost like you gotta listen very carefully or you’ll miss the nuances that make it great. I love that version, fit the night perfectly.

@willowed, it was a pleasant surprise to see the Centrum fill up on 12/27. Blizzard and all. New Englanders bring the intensity, always. I love that about this area, doesn’t matter what it is, we get pumped.

  23. Gavinsdad Says:

Trying to get back to music….gonna finish this Keith Richards bio tonite.

  24. Gavinsdad Says:

    Lol @ butter

  25. phoammhead Says:

    how about “your tent illness”

    or “mastertentedness”

    “tent for brains”

    “holy tent!”

    “i’ve gotta go tent”
