That Tela was so different. So many changes.

I’ve never heard it like that before. Vocal harmonies all over the place. Real nice treat.

Young kids having fun…Isn’t that what it’s all about?

MikeInAustin – Your first show was the Northfield show? I’m a Junior at St. Olaf – right across the river from Carleton – right now, and my buddies and I always talk about how awesome it would have been to have seen Phish in the Cave… that is such a cool venue. I can’t believe you were actually at that show.

  4. BrandonKayda Says:

    Which Tela?

I can’t believe I caught that song haha. I called it too – the signs were a pretty good omen at MPP, pretty sure everything got played atleast once, llfa

and the Wedge from the SBD compilation (3/25/93) has an intro and then a solo section that i’ve never heard….a simple chord progression but it’s a really swank-ass groove. i need to research and see if that’s how they played it all the time in the early stages of the song, or whether that was a very unique version.

  8. mitch Says:

humboldt rob, how you looking for nyc tix?

  9. butter Says:

has anyone figured out if you can get .m4a (lossless) from itunes with the new remastered shows they are selling?

  10. poop goblin Says:

I believe that’s the only wedge with that arrangement KP

  11. Solsun Says:

Sorry long meeting, hate to jump in and out like this, but had to mention…

Don’t forget the Dark Star Jam out of Space at the Charlotte show, not that it really matters, but that was my favorite song of theirs at the time and couldn’t believe we at least got a glimpse. My older brother’s buddies were telling me how there was no chance they would ever play Dark Star at the show. The ragged on me for a good bit of the drive from Va Beach. You should have seen their faces, ahhhh priceless as there ever was. Thanks for indulging me. Aloha boys, off to another meeting.

i could be wrong but i don’t think you can get anything in lossless from iTunes. if you mean you want Apple Lossless (ALAC), you could always get the FLACs, decode to WAV, and then encode the WAVs to ALAC.

  13. mitch Says:

Our next collection of cherry picked shows from Phish’s Summer Tour 2010, fully remastered by Fred Kevorkian, will be available for download at iTunes this Tuesday, February 1st.

  14. kenny powers Says:

    poop g

wow, then that’s probably the coolest wedge i’ve ever heard.

  15. mitch Says:

did the shows from atlanta already get released? the remasters, and they were doing an MPP one too. not seeing those on drygoods. maybe they sold out already.

  16. jdub Says:

A lot posts at the same time right there.

That Wedge jumped out at me while going through that playlist. I kind of had the same thought. Wondered if that was normal back then.

  17. butter Says:

how do you get the flacs of the remasters?

  18. butter Says:

just spun Greek Light in flac Hd

hard to imagine anything sounding better, sign me up if its possible tho

  19. mitch Says:

+1 for the wine aerator. you got one of these bad boys @willowed?

  20. kenny powers Says:

i assumed you could download the FLACs like all the other shows, but i just checked and apparently you can only get them either via hard copy CD or via iTunes which means lossy AAC.

i guess either you need to buy the hard CDs to import, or wait till they pop up on the ‘noid if you’re into that.

  21. kenny powers Says:

kind of odd in this digital age that they’d release something that couldn’t be DL’s losslessly.

    MacBook Fail update:

Somehow I jury-rigged the fan’s logic board component I busted in half back together and the fan is running; stuck half of the cracked component onto the new fan plug and set the whole bit into the half-cracked bit remaining on the board. Go figure.

The component I busted below the fan component is beyond jury-rigging but the machine seems to be running fine. Don’t know how long it’ll last, but I’m pretty much in disbelief ATM.

Maybe it’s those Chinese acrobats dancin’ around in there, holdin’ it all together.

Oh and big ups to Mitch for immediately being willing to help. This board is so legit.

  23. butter Says:

well thats some bush league then

spend the time and energy to remaster and force feed us mp3

my blood pressure just went up

  24. mitch Says:

lightning outside. i look out the window like WTF was that? then the thunder. so i guess that was in fact lightning. uh oh.

  25. neemsbane. Says:

    i get no respect.
