At least Empire State of Mind is site specific. I doubt that one returns. The electric set from last night looks to be where it’s at, though! Can’t wait to hear Mr. Completely. I almost forgot what that one sounds like.

^it was tight Willowed. really well done. as was heavy things. wanted him to strap the catdoc on but…electric set was around the corner.
i was super claustrophobic in Elec Fact last nite…had to move back behind the taper rigs…overall good vibe from the peeps. tickets sold out before kaya and i got there. we got sorted. i bought two tix and tried to sell one to a kid for $40 (under face) to a kid and his girlfriend and i got MASSIVE attitude from the kid about him wanting to pay $30 and he accused me of scalping. i was incredulous…told him to fuck himself. it was really unlike me. i was so shook by the fact that this happened that i went back and gave him the “i’ve been doing this for 20 years and was doing you a KINDNESS” lecture and that i’d never scalp a ticket and he must be out of his mind. he forked over the $40 and whined about his giving the ticket to his girlfriend and that he’d now not be able to get in so i spent another half hour casually looking for another ticket for him just because it’s in my blood to get all people in the building (even if they’re douchey) but had to jump on line in the cold to get in.
just amazed that i was trying to do something nice for someone and it gets flipped on me.
anyway…super fun show…not really sated…need more music….but don’t wanna rush into Summer…it’ll get here when it comes.

Except for the kids on here, most have no respect nowadays. (Even though that makes me sound like I’m 80, I’m only 39.)
I scheduled a work trip to Pittsburgh for tonight and tomorrow night, so I’ve got a phatty hotel lined up if anyone feels like joining BTB and I for the Friday night show.

gdad, i got that same reaction in spac this summer. i was trying to sell my extras for fathers day, so i could spend my first one with my boys, and the little fucker started to haggle with me. i was offering them for $40, and he said “fuck that, $25, no one will be here tomorrow its fathers day” my response, “you know who else wont be he, YOU!” and sold them to someone else right in front of him for $50 a piece. Hows that for karma?
