Last night’s show, great venue, peaks and valleys in the show, highlights were Push on Til the Day and Clint Eastwood. CE had the house raging! I thought he played Joy right before Let Me Lie. Anyone else remember that? I’ve been much wronger plenty of times. (Winky Smiley Face).

  2. butter Says:

nice Miner, grab this — make for some nice travel tunes for tonite

  3. sumodie Says:

@voopa: spinning that Trey Bonnaroo show now…Push On just pops with energy -and Money Love Change snarls with hot Trza tone. AUD sounds great -thanks again for the re-seed!!

Was so exhausted during that last night but someone I boogied on at the back. As soon as the show was over, I hopped in my prepacked car, made it to a nearby motel a few hours later, de-wooked myself, and promptly slept for 16 hours

So glad to finally have this in lossless -let the flashbacks begin, lol

  4. sumodie Says:

In case anyone missed the etree link for Trey’s 2002 Bonnaroo mindmelter:

    and thank voopa 8)

  5. butter Says:

    thanks sumodie

grabin everything i can while i have high speed

  6. Mr. Palmer Says:

Yes. Thanks voopa and Sumo. Got that tab in the on-deck circle.

  7. voopa Says:

My pleasure. Glad I bothered to dig it up. Guess it’s time to look for other chestnuts that have been hiding for a while.

Think I’ll stop this T5 show and go back and finish that Roo.

If anyone doesn’t have it still, get the SBD of Trey Roo ’04. Orchestral Coming to, Flock of Words, Guyute and Secret Smile are $$$.

  8. joe Says:

trey’s playing sounds great to me. (listening to this push on till the day) band is tight. For those with tickets to upcoming shows, do that thing that George Clinton says. and just chill during the first part of the show. It’s not nearly as bad in person as it is on playback I think. (actually, haven’t listened to any on playback but enjoyed it well enough at the time.)

  9. joe Says:

and as always, thanks Mr. Miner. keeping the tunes flowing. Great ten tunes (disease>Mike’s is so sick) the other day, great videos today and choice plucking of trey as an added bonus.

had “Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me” on this morning, they do a segment where they read off three news stories, only one is real and its up to the contestant to figure out which is real.

Todays real story was about the phanner on CNBC dropping phish references. The contestant got it right and said the reason he believed it was real was because he knows a lot of really smart people who listen to jambands. They then had Mike on for second and played a snip it of Free, was pretty cool.

how about this one? No sign of it on bt.etree currently:

I also have the ’02 Halloween show, and the 2 sets from Mountain Aire, about a month before Roo. Just holla.

  12. sumodie Says:

@voopa: sure, load ^ that one onto etree

’02 Roo Sand just fired up -love that raunchy guitar tone

  13. EL Duderino Says:

    I believe disc 2 track 4 is Curlew’s Call

  14. sumodie Says:

@voopa: do you know anything about the shnfamily’s Direct Connect Hub? If so is it easy to configure one’s computer and join?

(in the comments section for most every etree phish torrent it says:

*Please come and visit us in our Direct Connect hub!
Where we’re sharing every Phish show in circulation (plus more)!
    -First get our recommended Client:
-Then come & join us in “the hub”:

  15. EL Duderino Says:

disc 3 track 1 is Every Story Ends In Stone

  16. EL Duderino Says:

disc1 track 2 is Xavier Cinakowski

  17. voopa Says:

Yeah El Dude, that’s the original text file, when people were not sure of song titles yet.

Sure thing sumo. Will do at some point today (a lot going on right now).

Yeah, DC++’s been around forever. I actually joined via the moe. listserve about 8-9 years ago. Was an admin at the Echoes hub (Floyd), until the owner freaked out and banned me for not posting enough comments (?!?), been on the bluegrass hub, but I hang at the shnfamily hub exclusively now.

I usually only run the software at night or when I’m at work, because it combined with torrents really taxes my connection speed, even with having both throttled way down.

Glad they are doing open signups again, it’s been the same old crusty folks in there forever. KP recently joined, but I haven’t seen him lately. If you’re on a Mac, use

  18. Corey Says:

I have never seen a cow ski.
    Go UK.
    Island vids are fun. Thanks.
    That is all.

  19. sumodie Says:

@voopa: thanks for the DC++ low down, still hesitant to commit given time constraints, maybe eventually

as for seeding that Trey show (or any other), only re-seed at your pleasure. The TAB Bonnaroo show was the only one I was really itching for -I’ve got unheard music aplenty on my end

  20. voopa Says:

I’ll put up the Burlington show tonight or tomorrow. It’s a neat treat. Great Sand. On Small Axe right now…some great anti-Iraq war stuff from Franti and Radio.

    How you feelin?!?

I’ll probably put the Mountain Aire sets up too. They should be circulated further.

  21. sumodie Says:

@v: i’ll keep my eye out for those etree seeds. Set 1 from 6.23.02 has scorched these ears – time to stop before I get sucked into that epic Night Speaks and move on to other endeavors, lol

    have a great Saturday night!

  22. voopa Says:

We posted free firewood on craigslist this morning at 8:30. Got 2 calls right away, no shows still and now approaching 1pm. 3rd caller will be here this afternoon, looks like they’re the big winners. But Ive had 6 calls that I’ve had to ignore since the 3rd caller. Damn craigslisters…c’mon people, I’ve got shit to do!!

  23. ThePigSong Says:

I’ve been selling some random stuff around the house on craigslist and I’ve realized that only about 1/4 of the people actually show. Had two no shows so far today.

I should really just bring it all down to goodwill, but the quick cash is enticing.

  24. voopa Says:

OK, I think Separator is the best track on KoL.

    /still waiting…

  25. lastwaltzer Says:

I think you need to put the wood outside, call everyone back tell em its there and go on with your day 😉
