I’m no AW, though, so not sure if those were actually legit or not.
sounds about right Palmer
do you fly into Albany for Bethel?
Oh, small axe too.
Butter- check to see if you can fly into Stewart airport ( SWF). It’s small, so there may not be many flights in and out though.
Highlights for me were “Liquid Time”, “Jibboo”, “Burlap”, “ML&C” and “Ether Sunday”. Can’t compare with other nights of the tour but I thought the band was pretty hot all night.
Stewart airport to Bethel is still an hour drive though……
thx Palmer
don’t even know if i can go, have to talk the pregnant lady into it
they had good ones for me to go home on, screwed up ones to get there (red eye)
red eye before a three night run = behind the 8 ball
Albany looks like a 2 hr, 20 min drive, is that next best?
BB pulls through again. Tired of the train stuff today. Gdad is on the way to pick me up in Philly for the night.
I frackin love this place and you cats if I haven’t said so before.
@butter
Scranton – Wilke’s Barre is about 2 hours I believe. Not sure what flights are like to there. Binghamton seems relatively close too.
Albany and newark would probably be the same drive.
you guys like your airports in NY, huh?
Ogden posters look sweet..
I only saw two rigs set up in columbus. I dont know anything about taping, but one had four mics and the other only two. I should also mention that overall the sound was WAY too loud for the venue. I had to retreat to the upper deck a few songs into the electric set because it was literally deafening….
syracuse & ithaca are both about 2:30 away, but both small. newark has gotta be a bit closer
Charlie Sheen on CNN. Piers Morgan live interview.. riveting tv
I am from the/that area.
Stewart is the way to go fo sure.
thanks for the heads up Palmer
Also just found this, I think the whole set II us up

man, it feels great to be following a team peaking at the right time. feels great to put the beat down on nova too.
What up kids. fun show. acoustic shit was fun for Trey it seemed. all the 19 year old chicks were belting out the hits. kind of scary to see how happy Trey gets to take part in this shit but he really digs it. the music isn’t as terrible as the cheezy crowd and Trey interplay as they together as one. should have just showed up later. wish I never saw that.
Let me Lie and Water in the Sky sounded cool with the chicks singing back up. more real arrangements. not Trey just playing the camp fire style.
I loved the full band acoustic. big mistake by Trey not making this a big portion of the set IMO. they sounded great. Heavy Things and Liquid Time came off real well in the acoustic setting.
nice to see the Push on Through to end set 1. woke up all that had fallen asleep. band sounded great. excited for set 2.
band sounded great for the electric set. as others said Jibboo and MLC were def smoking and the Ether Sunday was great to hear also.
Trey and Ray sounded great. I still think this horn section is pretty worthless but whatever it works for what they do I guess.
def glad I went even with the ridiculous acoustic set. Trey sounds crisp and clean and Russ and Tony still kill that techno, funk groove.
love the new harder funk to the burlap.
that Devil Goes to Georgia shit though. Trey had to drop that right in the middle of the second set just to remind me how fucked up that cat is these days. awful.
either way fun night. can’t wait for summer.
laterz
I like the pictures they have been adding to the from the road page on trey.com
cool shot of the HOB from the upper balcony and the stage shot of Albany is pretty slick.
Someone needs to tell charlie sheen about the “switchman sleeping” and that whole “train hundred & two” thing.
This thing does not end well.
ND and SJU are hottest teams in BE.
