Weekend Warriors
In lieu of my usual Friday playlist, this weekend I have assembled a group heavy-hitting selections from 2010 that all took place on weekend nights. Enjoy this weekend, enjoy the tunes, and may all fare well in the ticket lottery!

“Rock and Roll > Free” 6.26.10 II

Good article by Rick Riley about NFL owners. Have a good day gents, off to fix my well.
Does that mean we don’t get sand tonite, since it was played last night
^i would say not necessarily, butter, different cities
Is it me, or have 2010 Tubes been bending the laws of space-time? The funk is dilating time. I swear.
sand and jibboo seem to be played everynight for the most part.
good article WH
you’ll probably get goodbye head and mr completely, if that’s any consolation
good morning peeps.
i have uploaded a good amount of post-rock, mainly from Chicago, and some other must haves from the genre. also other artists form Thrill Jockey. enjoy.
thanks for the tunes Miner! i love that the Blossom #Line still holds up. I’m pretty sure Trey was locked in on my vibe during that jam, as I was front row, pretty much right in front of him. i think some of my interpretive dancing orchestrated the direction of the groove. 😉
Joe – security is def way more lax at the orpheum these days. dude in the row in front of me was puffing tough the whole first set, getting our whole section iree, and security came by and just asked him to stop. Pretty solid move on their part.
I was at that trey/volt parade show you got tossed from – you didn’t miss much.
Highly suggest catching them, they sounded fantastic. I was really surprised, great show
Enjoy the Oakdale show Willowed, should be a great time!
Blossom #line is also a great example of proper use of the whale, and, the proper timing for mike to use his filter (or whatever the technical term for that sound is). just a perfectly executed jam. although it would have been cool if it exploded into some Trey shredding for a few mins before dropping into 20YL.
Jibboo and Push On to close Set 1…sweet! And he did Joy so I won’t get that tonight, but will probably have to deal with a Let me Lie. Meh, I can do that, just follow it with Hey Ya! and all is forgiven!
Sorry, a little excited for tonight already…
Man Goodbye Head and Mr. C would be great…and Cincinnati!
You’ll get a Sultans tonight @ Voopa. Enjoy!
Nice AJ. Charlie chaplin day!
4/15 ujb = sickness

Furthur can play. You heard it here. Russo is the engine.
Robear and His girl here gettin our hippie speedball on
Re commencing 7/31/97. Starting up at YEM.
going up to 60 degrees today here in the NE. By the end of this weekend i will be able to see my property, snow free, for the first time since Dec. 26th. That’s just silly….
poop- funny thing is, i knew exactly what you meant the first time.
Blew up that Tidal Wave lp for the first time this am. My 18 month old was getting loose…
“4/15 ujb = sickness”
yup yup. Funny thing is I think the first set night one and night three are the hottest of that run. How often can you say that?
i recall saying (and getting some stiff resistance) the Alpha Tweez was way stronger than the Greek Tweez, and upon another listen, I know I’m right.
it’s also one of the nicer segues of the summer into Slave. Mike helps it drop with some nice watery notes.
@tela
aren’t naturally transitioning into slave when trey kind of stops because they are jamming past the intro?
