yeh or set his acoustic guitar on fire.

    just kidding of course guys

  2. angryjoggerz Says:

Utica Have Mercy>Antelope is my fav moment of 3.0. Just pure music.

  3. angryjoggerz Says:

And by Have Mercy, I mean Saw it Again, ha.

  4. Mr. Palmer Says:

i was wondering where you were going w/ that @ AJ. That 1st set is the FIRE!

  5. Leo Weaver Says:

@Mr. P…you’ll probably dig DBT. Never really listened to them much but have lots of friends who love them. They started in Athens while I was in school there so I saw them a lot in bars all over town. Never really sought them out since they were such a fixture in some of my haunts, but they were always solid…in every format – acoustic duo on barstools in a tiny dive to full band on stage at the Ga Theater.

  6. KfL Says:

thanks sumo – 3 seeders, not sure how i missed that one! thanks for the help

  7. angryjoggerz Says:

I think that whole show is amazing and so very replayable. I listen to that more than any 3.0 show and I am pretty much a guyute (the song) hater.

  8. Leo Weaver Says:

Yeah, I’ll check that split out again Lycan. Certainly coulda been the fun guys I was hangin’ with, etc, etc. I do remember that the first set was terrible.

when are you coming to town?

  9. Mr. Palmer Says:

agree w. you AJ. Very “phishy” show. Not in a ‘fishman run around the stage and sing katy perry’ way, but in a purely musical form.

  10. Robear Says:

No time to practice ‘Split’ before New Years run.

  11. Lycanthropist Says:

    4/4-4/7

  12. Lycanthropist Says:

actually i plan on staying there throughout the weekend too
so i will be there for the 9th

  13. gavinsdad Says:

i like the sack on the Uticalope.

and i just love love the swagger they had on them with that C&P on 1/1/11…that led them to wonderful places. (not mad at the feverish walk away and walls in set 1 either…fun nite).

  14. KWL Says:

3.0 is for noobs. japan 00 is where it’s at 😯

  15. Leo Weaver Says:

Cool. As of now that’s a pretty work-light week I think and we’ll be here for the weekend. beers and bane are in order.

  16. gavinsdad Says:

last year at Leo W’s i got some Anderson Valley Boont Amber in cans at the spot up the street from him. just sayin…dude is a great host…join him this Summer if you’re in his neck for sure.

  17. Leo Weaver Says:

Couple of nice CnP’s this fall.

Need to spin that Utica show again soon. it’s been too long.

  18. willowed Says:

Walk Away was made for MSG. I thought the walls were crumbling on 1/1 during that jam.

    It was the fire

  19. bouncin fan Says:

I hear you. it is a tight set.

I just prefer a Providence style RnR > Carini stylee. not enough wide open psychedelia in the second set.

I actually love set I of Utica. that Antelope Saw It Again is amazing. the rock n roll contained segue fest just didn’t move me as much as most

    huge Antelope

  20. bouncin fan Says:

that reminds me. gonna pull some Japan from my mp3’s are for custies hard drive.

still haven’t dug into that tour for some reason

  21. angryjoggerz Says:

Utica Split>Have Mercy>Piper>Split is the business too. May not be the all time best of those songs, but they kill it and their no slop along the way.

  22. Leo Weaver Says:

BBBBQ2 is officially on. gdad know’s what’s up. basically the same deal as last year – good food, good peeps, good times. bus if enough folks are interested.

I picked up a few of those nice canned beers after the intro last year gdad.

  23. Mr. Palmer Says:

6.9.00 tokyo show has a top 5 tweezer for me…
