    What do I know
I thought it was good (Split Sandwich) but I think it was put in the Epic catergory by some. It is not even close to that.

People felt the same way about the Saw it Again sandwich from Merriweather. I thought it was average at best.

Hell, noone should listen to me, I thought the Coral Sky Crosseyed was wankery.

  2. Leo Weaver Says:

Speaking of canned beers, Sierra Nevada is releasing their Pale Ale in cans. May’ve already done so, not sure when it’s supposed to start.

  3. Jtran Says:

Upon a recent relisten the Deer Creek Split is not all that great. Mostly Trey is lost throughout.

  4. garretc Says:

Oooooh, Jtran swoops in and drops the hammer on the DC Split debate!

I can honestly say I did not see that coming!

  5. Leo Weaver Says:

Guess it was the fun guys then…maybe I don’t need to revisit. It’s been known to happen.

I’m with ya on the MPP Saw it Again sammie @willowed

  6. willowed Says:

They need to bring back Birds into regular rotation. Thats another song similar to Split that is rare and has not quite lived up to it’s reputation.

    More Birds in 2011

  7. P.S.H.S. Says:

jtran, you go to jpeak yesterday? my buddies went, said it was amazing. they did the front face under the tram which had 6’+ drifts on it.

  8. Leo Weaver Says:

Birds in that Utica show. little reprise in Piper is great.

  9. garretc Says:

    @Mr. P

Thanks for getting me to spin the Drive-By Truckers again, quality stuff

  10. willowed Says:

Did we get a Birds in Hartford Leo???

  11. Mr. Palmer Says:

cool @ garet… actually i just remembered i pulled a show of their from bt.etree not too long ago. After the tokyo tweez i’m gonna spin a few tracks.

  12. Jtran Says:

    @pshs

My parents did actually and said it was great. I didn’t want to take the day off so just spun 5 laps at Stowe before work. Couldn’t really get out into any of the good terrain due to time constraints but it was good none the less.

  13. willowed Says:

Hartford 2009 I got it. I think that is my only 3.0 Birds

  14. Jtran Says:

Too bad it’s gonna rain tomorrow night, this weekend would’ve been ripe for some great BC action

  15. KfL Says:

not quite ready for japan quite yet.. been spinnin tosh since y’all were talking about it earlier. let jah be praised

  16. Leo Weaver Says:

Yep, so didn’t have to go far to realize the DC Split isn’t great. Trey is indeed pretty much lost from the start. No wonder this is only my second time spinning it since the show. Let’s see how the jam plays out…

  17. Leo Weaver Says:

Not one in 2010 willowed. I’d have remembered that one.

  18. Mr. Palmer Says:

They should open shows w/ Birds. That’ll get the juices flowing. Move chalk dust to a 1st set closer.

  19. Jtran Says:

There’s some good parts Leo, overall it’s a bit of a letdown in my opinion.

  20. Leo Weaver Says:

    …not too well.

Please disregard my previous recollection that the DC Split was good. Very end of the jam >DFB was the highlight and it’s even pretty weak.

  21. Leo Weaver Says:

letdown. yep, that about sums it up Jtran.

  22. Jtran Says:

That was a pretty fun set though. I don’t remember what got played each night out there, but I remember both set IIs being real fun.

  23. halcyon Says:

evening folks…..741pm in my parts and ready for bed. either I am getting a cold, or getting old…..

nice playlist for the night to end….capping it off with lemonwheel ambient

  24. Aquaman Says:

    @Willowed…..kinda agree…..wankery. Where’s the musicality?

Coral sky Antelope or Hood = $$$

  25. Lycanthropist Says:

    sorry @leo

didn’t mean to be a bubble burster
