so, i recently decided i would do marathon first-time viewings of Fringe up until its current episode, which is in the latter part of the third season.

    big mistake.

for a month or so i was completely hooked and totally looked forward to blasting through 2-3 episodes every night after work, and many more over the weekend. so then i catch up to where the live broadcasts are, realize the next episode wasn’t for another two weeks. and then the next episode another two weeks after that (tomorrow night).

not only has it somewhat taken me out of the total immersion of the story but it has left a void in my soul. i come home and stare at my walls like Brian or Robert.

i heart Olivia Dunham (the one from here). the one from there’s kind of annoying. i like the real Olivia’s flaws.

moral of the story – either do a season in real time only, or marathon style only. 2 cents.
