3/09/81 Matrix on Archive.org is pretty sweet. Sounds really good on these shitty headphones. Brents keys a little plinky. Bass not great but I think thats the head phones. Jer sounds great.
About the speed era. My Buddy back in the day had the full wall racks filled w/ tapes. One Late night we are all partying Hard and he’s like,” you gotta hear this crazy show”. He puts on one of those obviously sped up wrong speed tapes and he’s all’”crazy awesome, huh?” Me and my other buds are like’”um no thats the wrong speed. Jerry never sounds like Alvin(and the Chipmunks)”. This guy swore this was how it was “supposed to sound”. Of course the next morning he puts on his “favorite” Jazz album. My Favorite Things. While a great album isn’t it everyones first JAzz CD from Columbia records? We just rolled our eyes and never trusted his quality control again.
Damn, just found out about a friend in the hospital for an OD, this morning i wake up and hear about this japan quake and tsunami, two of my best friends, phishing partners, are visiting a friend in hawaii, bad start to the weekend
