TIII – Nice one. Just got back from a boys weekend in Jackson Hole so my brain is moving real slow. Your’s? Much much quicker.

  3. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

so he recovered from that nosedive off a stage in Australia then?

  4. Robear Says:

might have to hit all 4 festivals then!

  5. Mulitbeast Says:

Jimmy is back. Buffet got busted with over 100 pills of X in 2006. Got away with a slap to the wrist. I was proud of him.

so did you get traded by Water Wheel to Bamaworks in a Red Light deal or something? I bet Water Wheel got a ton of draft picks for you. have fun living in C’ville. mighty big cultural shift from the County.

  8. Mulitbeast Says:

  11. albert walker Says:

  12. albert walker Says:

Robear gonna start growing that brown outdoor. I think it grows brown on the plant down there in tobacco country.

  13. Robear Says:

no joke. we once tried swinging glass and goo-balls at a Palace DMB show. Kids thought they were fake. Argued for minutes with parking security. Should have had a helmet cam.

think i might do the whole first leg of phish…….

  14. fatbastard Says:

just showed why you sellin your pavs? not goin?

  15. sumodie Says:

do i need to convert the 24 bit sbd shows into something else before putting them on an iPod?

iTunes supports 24bit apple lossless (ALAC) playback….and some ipods will play 24bit

assuming you want to have 24bit files in your iTunes library, it’s very easy to have iTunes automatically down convert 24bit to 16bit or, god forbid, mp3s when filling your ipod

(this is assuming your 24bit files are apple lossless. If not then you do need a converter program as was rec’d)

  16. albert walker Says:

No. Just found better seats for those 2

Looking forward to that little 3 night run

  17. Mr. Palmer Says:

  18. fatbastard Says:

  19. fatbastard Says:

    i gotta bounce..check back later

My point is that while organic has great potential -it will never surpass conventional farming until they allow biotech.

Conventional farming WAS organic farming, for thousands of years

At least up until oil & chemistry combined to produce vast quantities of synthetic fertilizers around the turn of the 20th century

In any case, just because we CAN produce food using modern ‘conventional’ agricultural practices coupled with biotech doesn’t mean that we SHOULD do it

Same goes for nuclear power, IMO. We sure can rely on it, but I don’t believe we should

Of course, all these issues converge on the most pressing problem of all, the ultimate ‘800 lb gorilla to beat all gorillas in the room’: human population

But no one wants to address human population issues, a taboo subject. Instead we just keep walking blindly towards the edge of the cliff….

And now I’ve exceeded my non-Phishy limit of discussion

127 Hours snuck up on me. Didn’t think I was diggin it that much and then BAM! I’m crying like John Fuckin Boner! Awesome film. Ralston givin us a good name taboot. $$$

  22. BingosBrother Says:

Happy b-day Sumo. Cool story today. Wish all shows could be that chill.

  23. albert walker Says:

now back to Phish….spun sets 2 & 3 from 8.2.03 IT a few weeks back (both excellent)

    skipped set 1, a habit I picked up… 😉

big mistake! spun part of set 1 today: sick jam out of Ya-Mar, and that’s just the 2nd song of the festival. Not to mention the segue into Jim was butta smooth, followed by a glorious Reba complete with whistling.

(IT was awesome -I have the IT poster hanging atop the stairs at the inside entry to my condo. I had to endure the mutha of all ugly poster scrambles to get that one)

  25. poop goblin Says:

I’m waiting for my jammed Ya Mar like kids are waiting for their Roses and Halley’s

spinning that 97 Shoreline reminded me how much a sick jammed out first set ya mar sets the tone for a hot set

    miss that shit
