@sw: thanks -that’s one of those ‘orphaned’ torrent webpages that I apparently cannot re-seed from

so annoying that I don’t know where I got that fileset from…argh

  2. SillyWilly Says:

    @sumo

i accidentally deleted a folder with a bunch of my filesets.

    i hadn’t labelled it right.

  3. angryjoggerz Says:

No dates = some real bullshit. It is like they dont want us to go. They may have to live with what they wish for.

New TV on the Radio lp just dropped today, on the dl right now. Got the new Fleet Foxes yesterday as well.

  4. garretc Says:

    @aj

Yeah, I guess they weren’t worried about the supposedly low leg I ticket sales, cause they’re not helping leg II sales by waiting this long…

  5. Gavinsdad Says:

Taco Tuesday bros…apparently not date announce Tuesday…sorry I can’t get this dialed in a bit more. Mentioned to our kind host that I actually had a work related call with RedLight yesterday and they remained mum on dates. My bad for last weeks misinterpretation of “in a minute” vs “it’ll be a minute”. I’m with KWL on these dates…think they have to ice the cake on whatever capper they’re planning…just one guys opinion.

  6. sumodie Says:

@phoam: I’ll be stealth camping….well, I keep saying that but for now I’ve made no concrete plans

  7. Gavinsdad Says:

Though, Is there a reason that it’s “bad” that we don’t know August dates in late March? I don’t follow other bands but I assume that most other bands have their entire Summer dates announced (wsp etc?)

  8. sumodie Says:

@sw: I have the music files. The problem I’ve noticed with etree is that in 2006 they changed the policy on how shows are seeded, thereby ‘orphaning’ lots of torrent webpages for shows. And since the etree search engine blows chunks….

so lesson learned and I’m keeping MUCH better track of my etree source webpages

so now one can click on my name to find etree torrent links for the phish shows I/we have recently been pimping around these parts

  9. Mr palmer Says:

Wsp just announced today. We are just an easily annoyed and spoiled fanbase.

Ftr – I have a good friend whos in promotions and the like out west. He’s booked his accommodations for gorge and Tahoe already for those widely circulated dates.

  10. joe Says:

but do people spend the same amount of (vacation) time and travel related money for most bands? might not be as big a deal for generic popular band X to announce later dates because fans of generic popular band X only need to know what day they need to leave work a bit early to get to the local show.

honest question as my memory is awful. What was the typical timing of tour announcements in the 1.0 era?

  11. sumodie Says:

aha! and now I think I’ve found a working torrent webpage for:

    http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=538053
PHISH 11-19-94b BLOOMINGTON, IN – post show parking lot jam

  12. joe Says:

here’s an idea for the kids. Clear the summer and get a nice tent and maybe a car that’ll make it cross the country. No need for dates

  13. phoammhead Says:

hmmm, sumo, that’s what i was going to do. just make the trip, get there and hope it all works out, which it usually does. hopefully, you’d get a place to camp when you get to bethel before the show. if not, leaving a show and having no where to go can leave you traveling around for hours trying to bed down. i had some friends who went to alpine last year without plans and found themselves after the first nite getting bumped from parking areas and rest areas until after 7 am and not getting any rest or sleep 😯

^i guess that’s what’s called getting wooked out

  14. BingosBrother Says:

how fucked up is this country that SW is treated as a criminal and none of the fuckers who collapsed the wealth of this world(except their own)are chillin? Best of luck tomorrow SW. Keep bein good.

  15. angryjoggerz Says:

I know that by 4/20 last year I had my entire leg 2 set up and tickets already secured, so this is getting late.

Lollapalooza going on sale this week it seems. I have never made it a single one in Grant Park, what a crime!

  16. purplehumpbackwhale Says:

anybody know where i can find a source for 7/10/98 Barcelona, Spain?

found a video of the epic simple that came from it… want to watch it with decent audio though.

dcc317 at nyu.edu if you know of one. its not seeding on bt, at least not the source i found.

  17. phoammhead Says:

if i could get to bethel a day ahead of time, i would just wing it. cruise into town, get the lay of the land and make it happen one way or another.

but, that would require taking an extra day off work.

  18. sumodie Says:

@mrP: 3 days of WSP at Grand Targhee? That would be #1 on my summer tour list if I followed them -freakin’ amazing locale (epic powder mountain), and a gorgeous but deadly 1hr drive from Jackson Hole, WY

  19. sumodie Says:

@purp: yup, got the *dankseed* certified source -will look for a torrent link….

  20. Mr. Palmer Says:

Yeah sumo. There summer tour looks sick. 3 nights in red rocks, skip night in Idaho , followed by 3 nights in Grand Targhee w/ Dirty Dozen Brass Band and New Mastersounds.

  21. Mr. Palmer Says:

    ^ their

  22. Phamily Berzerker Says:

Damn, Aqua prayers going out to your family.

  23. sumodie Says:

  24. Phamily Berzerker Says:
