    Major successes today.

The interview went exceedingly well. Nice opportunity possibly. Small organization with the agility to turn on a dime and adapt and open to my influence to shape business policy and direction. Head of HR asked when I could start. CEO in Hawaii with family for spring break so next week is a another waypoint.

A letter I sent to my former employer starting with the CEO and everyone else involved garnered me a severance package and a recharacterization of our separation for terminated for cause, violating employee policy to voluntary separation. My higher power is at work today taking care of business.

    Praise Icculus!!

I just have to say – as a family man, with several professional situations, waiting for summer dates like this is a drag.
I thought this was a band that knew how to treat their fanbase – a quick look around shows and I see a lot of people in their 30-40s – which means a lot of people who have more going on in their lives.
Yes, I am impatient. I also think they need to re-think their approach to how they plan and announce tours to treat us well.
Is this a band issue or a Red Light issue?

    sumo-

Dug out my copy of 11-19-94 and realized it didn’t exactly match the torrent (music files matched tho)…tried to match all the files, then saw your next post and said fuck it. Just now realized your second post was about a different show…let me know if you want me to seed that 11-14-94b.

  14. voopa Says:

And congrats PB! Stay on the path.

  15. voopa Says:

I’ve put off making dinner from 7PM until 8PM…let’s see if I do it at all.

  16. angryjoggerz Says:

Nice, El Dude. Was my buddy Evan Osnos in it? He wrote a great piece on him in the New Yorker and has become fairly close with him. I hope to meet him one of these trips to China.

hey guys, i was threatening to upload to Mediafire. This is my first attempt, so someone let me know if it worked. I cant figure out to have it in a neat folder, for 1 click downloading. So excuse the clicking one by one. i’ll learn this shit. is it a level of membership that will allow me to have folders available for dl?

anyway my buddy Jake Eckert, is a guitar player and song writer. he is the guitarist for Dirty Dozen. and this is the first 5 tracks off of his solo album “Roll On” (apple lossless)

if you dig New Orleans style, blues, funk, rock…. in that Dr. John style presentation you might dig this. Little Feat influence for sure too.

some great players. George Porter Jr. is on bass on tracks 3 and 5. Dirty Dozen horns are on track 3, too

Jake Eckert “Roll On” (first 5 tracks off album, out of 9 total tracks)

    Boise Bag is the bizness.

    Fact.

  22. garretc Says:

    @butter

If you put all the files you want to upload together (say, all from one album) into one folder, then compress that folder you can post it as one a click download assuming it’s still below the upload limit

  23. joe Says:

Last night was movie night in my house (after my basketball watching Friday thru Sunday 🙂 ). Rachel getting Married was her choice (free thanks to the public library which also yielded The Wire season 4 which I plan on plowing through over the next 2 weeks). Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to find out it wasn’t a Romantic Comedy but a darkish drama with some decent music. Capped that off with some Macgruber on hbo which was even dumber than I imagined (in a good way I guess)

  24. butter Says:

ok G, will try that – thanks, figured i would get schooled up quick around here, when u say “compress” it, you arent talking file shrinkage are you?

and i’ll have the whole album up by tomorrow or the next day as i figure this out

  25. butter Says:

    way to go PB
