“Bathtub Gin” 11.9.98 II
And this “Gin” is not far behind.

“Tweezer > Lifeboy” 6.18.94 II
Nor is this “Tweezer,” with a massive “Mind Left Body” peak.

A crunchy first half “Free” that gets forgotten due to the monstrosity of the second set; a reminder of what the jam once was.

“Mike’s” 11.7.98 I
Funk into bliss; a great way to start a show.

Very important info released in the SuperBall Faq:
http://superballix.com/faq.html
Is a wook born a wook, or do they become one over time?
That is a great, great question.
DAMN sumo, i was just about to post that quote.
also, arrested develpment reference ftw! wont spoil it, find it urself
Plenty more humor & useful info is found under the other tabs too, eg:
http://superballix.com/guidelines.html
New Foo album is alleged to be, and should be, smoking. Butch Vig produced, Kris Novoselic (sp?) and Pat Smear guest spots, recorded in a garage I think. I’m not a huge Foo fan, but this album looks legit.
Sumodie – thx for the efforts and links to Sugarbush! grabbing them now. busy day today, good thing i read back.
there’s always money in the banana stand, classic. too funny this faq
tela’s- thanks for your mediafire uploads a couple of days ago, I grabbed a LOT of stuff I’ve been curious about but hadn’t gotten around to checking out. Really enjoying Deerhunter, Fleet Foxes, and Blitzen Trapper the last couple of days
btw i still find it strange they haven’t announced the number of sets or anything. i assume 8, but idk what with it being called superball 9 and all. oh well, will be bomb either way.
no prob Chef! glad you’re enjoying!
I sent an email to ballix already, but, how am I supposed to leave the fest for just one day if Day parking is only for Day parking?
also…
Colorado festi over Labor day?
it’s been a few years since i’ve heard this Mind Left Bowie. Wow. So good. Makes me think i’m stupid for not planning a week of Phish/Sox in my favorite town.
@Pig – i’ve heard this mentioned in re:CO
heard it from a friend today who seems to have decent connections within the org.
Didn’t sound finalized or anything, but something they’re looking into maybe…
taken from PT – so take it for what it’s worth.
“Colorado is a done deal – the venue, logistics and the dates are 100 percent booked.
I am not going to validate this post by naming my source. He’s a good friend and respected former employer of mine so take this for whatever you want it to be.
Three shows – the shows are being promoted by AEG (Don Strasburg) and the ticket broker is (unfortunately) TicketHorse. Phish will play IN the stadium, rather than on the soccer fields like some of the previous festivals there. The shows will all be GA and there will be onsite camping (they will be selling camping passes).
The only reason the CO shows weren’t announced in the last batch of summer dates was because announcing a series of shows in Colorado over a national holiday weekend (Labor Day) would have “hindered” ticket sales for the Watkins Glen fest. General feeling amongst mgmt was that people in the Western US would opt to hit CO over Labor Day, rather then fly cross-country to Watkins Glen.”
he tweeted tonight – “signing out with a great one-announcing a big show tomorrow stay tuned. not radiohead”
we shall see.
damn! I thought I had the scoop for once 🙂
I’d say a festi announced in CO any time before superball is gonna kill ticket sales.
::kicks self for voluntarily trading away labor day vacation::
a festi in Colorado to end the summer would be a super ball buster. 😉
but what a way to end summer
Nice, http://superballix.com/camping.html contains a link to Winnebago Man.
but it would make my summer, huggiebear.
bonus for his use of accoutrement.
Fuck I have 2 interviews tomorrow what am I still doing up?!
Can’t… Sleep… Too excited for tour…
Is it August yet?
Best Tweezer ever
