    @ G711

No thanks man… but I appreciate the offer.

    @ Lycan

there are some wineries in the area and Central Washington University is in Ellensburg. don’t get your hopes up tho’ small campus/town. you’ll be so whipped after each day and there’s not a whole lot of time in the day except getting something decent to eat before you’ll wanna head back to the venue lot. Which is great by the way.

  3. KWL Says:

believe silly is going bethel to newark after the shows, not sure who with

  4. KWL Says:

might need to drop camden>mpp to get the festi in. fucking red light!!!!!

  5. snowbank Says:

    check this map Lycan.

SeaTac (SEA the seattle airport) is the easiest way to get to the Gorge.

There are closer airports but they tend to be more spendy. Like with bethel, There are airports in Scranton and Newbugh, but flights are twice as much as Newark.

Here are the closest airports to the gorge.

@jtran – i’m flying solo to SEA and I’m discussions with a few people from this board as far as carpooling/lodging. At this point, I need a ride from SEA to Gorge, and Gorge to Tahoe. worst case I’ll drive my own ass from CO if I have to.

the room i booked is for 4 and invitations are open. I’ve got a spot reserved for Leo, and Mitch showed intial interest. i may ditch the reservation and camp though if the transportaion to and from the Gorge seems to difficult.

  13. Jtran Says:

Sounds good. I can’t help on the rides from SEA or to Tahoe, but if we end up staying in the same place (and the CID shuttle doesn’t pan out/is too expensive) I’m all for carpooling to the shows and back.

Still deciding if we’re camping or not.

Wow, still recovering from working here in town for our Spring football game. 92,000+ in Tuscaloosa for a practice?!?! Crazy! But it was a fun day with perfect weather. Spent all day yesterday watching movies to rest.

And thankfully an eagle will be landing with a special delivery for me on Wed, just in time for 4/20. It’s been a long baneless two months…

  20. Robear Says:

in ’09 there was a massive heat wave in central WA. like upper 90’s and even 100 degree temps… for that weekend it cooled off , but heading straight back up after the shows.
Hope you all don’t get the super heat.
There’s NO shade of any kind @ the Gorge.
    Consider this when making plans

  25. Mr. Palmer Says:

robear- you see my note the other day re: holmdel?
