Why am I up? I really need to start sleeping.
This is the BB’s version of the Blossom Possum.
Awesome, ‘night.
I am still up and I can’t see sleep in my near future
😯
Yeah @Willowed i know how that goes. I’ve been getting like, 2-3 hours of sleep a night on week-nights for awhile now. This needs to stop

THE RUNAWAY JIM MEMORIAL 5K ROAD RACE
I love the smell of motor oil in the morning. Eight years after the last race in Limestone, Maine, The 101st Running of the First Annual Runaway Jim Memorial 5k Road Race will curve around the speedway on Saturday morning. It’s technically 5.5 kilometers, 3.4 miles, but we know you’re serious and want to give this race 110%. Drug testing will not take place before and after the race.
Pre-registration and General Race Information for the Runway Jim Memorial 5k Road Race is now available online. Pre-Registration is ONLY available online through JUNE 30TH at NOON, and is available on a first-come first registered basis.
Trophies will be awarded to the fastest Male, Female and cheetah, and the 2nd and 3rd place finisher over all.
For complete information or to pre-register, please visit http://www.superballix.com/runawayjim5k.html.
NINTH ANNUAL SUPERWIFFLEBALL TOURNAMENT
Super Ball IX will feature a Ball Field, where we’ll host the Ninth Annual Super Wiffle Ball Tournament. We will be playing by official Wiffle rules. There are no bases to run. There are no umpires to argue with.
The tournament will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the day before Phish’s sets begin. A complete list of rules can be found here. The Tournament is free to all ticket holders. Teams may consist of one to five players. A one-man team will be up at bat continuously during an inning, for example.
The Ball Field will also have Bocce Balls available for some leisurely lawn bowling competitions between innings.
For complete information about the Super Wiffle Ball Tournament and to sign up, please visit http://www.superballix.com/superwiffle.html.
@willowed: great to see you -I had a blast, thought the show had plenty of quality, finally for GW. Just finished packing for Darien, winding down slowly but hope to be up ‘early’ in order to hit the rollercoasters
Camden should be the bomb!
See you in Camden sumo
Are you doing mpp?
Back from the show. Amazing seats – the closest I’ve seen the band. Highlight of the first set for me was the Bowie. Really was wishing that they would go big with Cities, but it was fairly uneventful.
Divided Sky got a lot of talk at setbreak as an outstanding version. I stayed for the early composed stuff to see if Trey nailed it and then hit the bathroom because I”ve been so displeased with Divided Sky in 3.0. Also I had to go to the bathroom, and setbreak bathrooms are something I try to avoid. Sounded like Trey was ripping it extra hard. The long pause felt gimmicky. But enough hate on DS.
At the start of the second set me and this guy next to me smoked a bowl. This was the only thing I had, but it messed with me pretty hard. The Rock and Roll No Royalties was a peak moment for me and I kind of thought it lasted for like half an hour. (Nope – 9 minutes or so.)
After RnR something weird happened. It felt like my ears popped from the sound being too loud (Section 1) and then everything sounded crazy out of tune. At first I grimaced and looked around but everyone was digging Mango so I figured this was just me being baked. Halley’s didn’t need to be there, and P&M left me with the same out-of-tune perception thing so I couldn’t really get into it. Thought Bug was bad placement but they killed the performance. Antelope was screamingly loud (in my ears, at least) and the odd way I was perceiving some of the sounds (distorted, too loud, out of tune) had me wondering if I’d be ok to drive home. (Had plenty of time to wait in the lot)
This was all about the RnR for me. Some really cool stuff in there. It will be interesting to compare the tapes to my experience. I get a much better idea of the quality of what was played from the tapes than from being there…like other people were saying, too much projecting of my own headspace, distractions, moods, etc to evaluate as well.
Pebbles was great to hear. Solid jam at the end but it seems like they struggled thru it
About to hit the sack at a rest area. It was fun gentleman.
Not sure about Camden, willowed, an outside chance
…zzz time finally beckons…
Just got back from the show after a sizable stint at the local watering hole. Tonight was pretty solid. It begins and ends with the R&R. Just top shelf, patient jamming in this one. I remember thinking during the jam that it had to be one of the most cohesive, team oriented jams i’ve heard in 3.0. Was totally loving it, start to finish. The difference maker is Trey – far more confident than recent tours (and even recent shows i’ve seen)
The rest of the show had its ups and downs. Dying for Cities to go somewhere, but it vamped a bit into obscurity. The Bowie was very solid. I got lost a bit in that version (in a very good way). Antelope brought the fucking house down. But, the spine shuttering, slap your forehead in complete disbelief moment came at the end of Haley’s. I have been a personal witness to the original “HORSE” and the recent Ghost “#LINE”, but the “MEASTICKING” of Haley’s undoubtedly tops them all. It was the kind of jarring live experience that give a casual listener severe whiplash. I was legitimately paralyzed until the rocking Antelope. TreyDHD is a disease, and it needs a cure…
Really had a good time overall and def some great phish was had by all. Some really interesting jamming in unexpected places. Oddball setlist with some great renditions. Looking forward to playback
Nice hanging with you guyute
Agree 100 percent. That halley’s abort was crazy. Stopped me in my tracks
I literally felt like i had just been in a car wreck. My friends and i all looked around to make sure everyone was alright.
Show STEAMED (corny fishman cymbal) up to that point…
I assumed Halley’s would abort so I had already put on the helmet and buckled down tight -made the meatsticking silly gooey fun as a result
::zonk::
In my head, i knew it would abort – BUT, after the Bethel outing, and it’s key placement in the 2nd set, I thought we were in for another trip to the central part of town.
Shit was whiplash. Regardless, cannot wait to hear R&R again. Really felt like they touched some sacred ground there.
I like that plan sumo
When they bailed on halley’s I literally fell over
The RnR is a lot of searching from thfe boys. They found it a few times
Just listened to it
Love the risks they took though
That Suzzy smoked by the way
Pages house
Page’s house!!! What up guyute!
