let me add to that though – if i want to check out a show from the night before or a day or two before, i spin the SBD first because you know what you’re going to get and you’re going to hear little nuances and the more quietly spoken banter between band members.
if you don’t compare your AUDs and just grab the first one that pops up and it’s a stinker, it kind of fucks up your first impression of the show and playing.
luckily we have gp420 and his blog for that
Good morning all.
21 points; congrats indeed!
MPP Sand was rather unique
Not sure if I just got moderated, or if I did not submit comment.

This shit is on some spaced out, mushroomed pop, hazey summer vibes. Enjoy!
DL’ing – thanks AJ
Great! I really like this one, not the most impeccably mixed (Im no dj) but the flow is there and the vibe is right. It is as if the dj had wanted the rock the dancefloor, but took a bunch of boomers instead and decided to freak out on the decks while singing his favorite songs.
Too much metaphor.
just checked out the steam video. love it (and the steam visuals, etc.). Anyway, here’s the challenge for today. Arrange the official videos from the tour so far into the most cohesive playlist.
packin up and my ray charles pandora just played
get ready – temptations

dig the wilson video with the close ups of trey getting in touch with his inner Eddie Van Halen.
@Alpharetta attendees:
Would love to meet as many of you as possible today & tmr while slingin h3tty quesadillas and Righteous Juices in lot A.
Hit me up if youre in the neighborhood and want to say hey (my handle at gmail).
Also have a pair of 105′s for tmr if anyone needs. These actually came to me from a fellow bb’r, would obv prefer to pass them along here…
WTF is today be responsible at work day?
The Steam video is top grade. As is the song. Looking forward to hearing and hopefully witnessing that blow up this summer. The jam during Sundays version struck a chord and sounded similar to the galloping groove segment in Pink Floyd’s Echoes. So far for me this song has Ghost, LF, and Floyd fingerprints with quite an original vibe. Not a bad concoction.
Safe travels to all on the Southern Cross closing run. Have no fear, the bands been saving some tasty jams for down south.
mornin’ party people.
tear it up down there tonight, everybody. we’ll be watching you from home.

anyone have an extra DL code for Darien? thanks! typeiiijpd of the googs mail persuasion
MPPIPER
Blossom Piper is reminiscent of Greek Light in places. Yep, sure is. They hit on some very similar themes and tones. Go check it out again.
I spent part of last night getting the yarden cleaned up some for Friday’s BBBBQ. Should be a pretty nice day if the heat and rain hold off.
@Leo
Are the Hidden Valley Kings being invited to the party?
Leo you hitting the GA shows?
I told ‘em they could stop by @Luther, but they gotta leave the handguns, brass knuckles, and knives at the end of the drive. And they gotta bring they ho’s for urrybody.
Unfortunately not @lw…gotta get some work done this week to pay for my Ohio trip and these NC shows. And pay Tela’s for the Tahoe cu$ty crib. I’ll probably be watching from the couch tho.
Did you just say probably? What kind flegionare are you?
A busy one? Probably watching from the couch, MAYBE watching from my adirondack in the garden
Srsly tho, the mother in law is in town, so I may have to entertain her a little bit. I’ll be hooked up for the stream, no worries. No need to question my card-carrying credentials.
phew, tickets at will call.
crisis averted.
Should I read back at how the last week of shows have been? Haven’t followed along much at all.
Morning BB! I think yesterday was kind of a between-Phish-shows blues day for me. Feeling more normal today.
I have to get something off my chest quick, though.
The bass player for moe. is one of the most annoying musicians I’ve ever had to listen to play. Was he good at some point in the past? I mean, this band has to live pretty comfortably just on making music, right? I can probably think of a dozen bass players just in Milwaukee who could destroy this guy.
Otherwise, things are good. PRIMO couch tour tonight, woohooooo!!
Hey all! The calm before the storm. Kid stuff has me realizing I won’t be catching the stream.
Someone keep a h3tty DL code for me from the Southern Cross.
Also, looking for DL codes for PNC and Darien.
Alpharetta>NC peeps…peach season has just started up and they’re beginning to roll in around here. There are lots of peach stands along I-85 between Greenville-Spartanburg and Charlotte (exits 80-106 primarily)…look for the signs and support the local peach growers. You’ll be driving through one of SC’s top peach-growing areas. See all those wide short trees in rows just off the highway? Yeah, the ones with little orange balls. Yep, peach orchards.
