    totally, AW and bob

with school starting back up after labor day, I won’t be in chicago as much

but i definitely want to chill this fall

get AJ and LW together and see some stuff

really want to check out that Exploding Star Orchestra soon

  2. Phamily Berzerker Says:

    Ditto what Adub said.

All of it, including the offline piece.

  3. Robear Says:

Gorge ‘Moma’ has a real nice, laid back groove. Trey seems to tease some of his licks from night 1 ‘RnR’ for good measure.

‘On your Way Down’ jumping right away.

  4. Phamily Berzerker Says:

On your next ‘trip’ west Silly.

That Alumni and Camelwalk night 1 reminded me of Alpines epic encore, except this time they tore the shit outta both of em. 3.0 FTW.

Saw 1 laser pointer at night 1, but it was during SOAM, and dude timed it to blow up the ceiling as soon as Mike said “I hate laserbeeams”. Never saw it again. Well done.

    word, PB

phish tour really is changing my life

always trying not to seem so young around many of you, but fuck it, you guys know who I am

im still in full on bliss mode from UIC. head expands a little more all the time

  7. Robear Says:

Thumbs up for Gorge ‘Wolfmans / heartbreaker tease / phunkdown’

  8. Mr.Miner Says:

HOLY SHIT! Just spun Gorge Rock and Roll > Meatstick > Boogie for the 1st time since that night. Rock and Roll is absolutely up there with the best jams of all time. Palace Tweezer, Nassau Roses, Gorge Rock and Roll. It may in fact be my favorite jam of all time as it fluently and fluidly showcases so many aspects of Phish. WOWOWOW! Can’t quite say enough… That is BY FAR my favorite segment of Phish since SPAC 04 and is better than that…

  9. Mr.Miner Says:

@Rob as soon as they dropped that Moma, all i could think of was that it was a nod to the previous night’s RnR…

  10. SillyWilly Says:

lotta kids touched by that Gorge RnR

could see it in kids’ faces when talking about it at Tahoe

sort of a 100 yard stare mixed with a slight grin.

certain light in the eye. physical changes? maybe. but that’s enough really. the maybe.

    Great to know, Mr. Miner.

makes it for all of us to know that jam happened. hits the whole scene.

    gorgeous.

  11. Phamily Berzerker Says:

Yeah, Miner. It is that good!

  12. Mr.Miner Says:

and they keep throwing down excessively hard right through the end of Boogie. Hot damn. This is pure fire and magic.

  13. Mr.Miner Says:

and Farmhouse is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly placed.

  14. Robear Says:

Miner, we had a good time piecing that together in the yurt, eh?

    I like the ‘Farmhouse’ too.

  15. Mr.Miner Says:

the night of the yurt….so epic.

  16. Mr.Miner Says:

Farmhouse is amazing in that slot at the Gorge after that. perfection.

  17. Lycanthropist Says:

we really need more love for the outro jam of Crosseyed..

breaking serious ground there in a few minutes… those SFX are killer!
    Radiohead-esque all the way…

  18. multibeast Says:

    Miner
The gorge RnR was a peak music experience for me. Can’t wait to read your piece on it sometime in the near future! 🙂

  19. Mr.Miner Says:

I think Show of Life works there too given the context and surroundings…

  20. Lycanthropist Says:

man those few minutes in between crosseyed and No Quarter might be my favorite jam underneath RnR and Tahoe Light..

    sick sick shit there.

  21. Mr.Miner Says:

absolute peak experience for me as well. the first night. gotta love it.

  22. Robear Says:

Lycan, I really prefer the HB ‘Crosseyed’. Listening back to HB, seems Trey could not decide if the show should be a rock show or psychedelic journey.

Energy feels all over the place.

  23. Lycanthropist Says:

I prefer the HB Crosseyed too if we are talking about Crosseyed proper…

but I am talking more about the segue jam between C&P and No quarter…

Some sick electronics goin on there.

  24. Robear Says:

Word, my favorite part of UIC 3, set 2 for sure Lycan. And the ‘Piper’

  25. Mr.Miner Says:

i mean, even Julius is laid back and better than usual in this set.
