    Don’t sleep on em

  4. joemeg Says:

Bears tomorrow night nice. I’m still loving that trade. I’ll take Eli over Rivers everyday, except maybe on a fantasy team. Kind of like A-rod, I’ll take him on a fantasy team, but real world, I don’t want him on my team

loving Tahoe 1 on first spin through.

whole first set works for me besides bouncin horn

real nice bowie. killer rawkin 46 days. nice little trey solo in mellow mood

real tight punch with the extended groove into

    great set I

  6. albert walker Says:

    continues nicely into set II

Jibboo is hot and the Light is so nice. real nice phish show through Light

  7. Mike in Austin Says:

Rift and PYITE is a good combo.

PYITE gets the little extra sauce too.

hey so, im trying to find a particular remix of shakedown street… i believe it was played during the setbreak of the tahoe webcast on night 1. however, i went to a theater in nyc to watch the webcast so its possible one of the workers just turned on their ipod or something for setbreak.

does anyone know a) if it really was the setbreak music and b) where i can find it? google had a few results but none of them were it

shakedown remixes that are NOT it –
Tommy Sunshine & Figure Ec$tacy, the Noematus bump edit, Dr. Fish, Pharmaceutical Executive, OR BoomBox.

if you think you know which one im talking about, email me dcc317 at nyu dot edu

    thanks

joemeg: HBowl Piper jam gets very intense very fast. Amazing how quickly the boys dive deep on that one. A tour highlight, imo

Weekapaug has got some great juice too

  11. joemeg Says:

Hmm. Maybe I shouldn’t skip it. I was kind of in a bad space when i listened to that the fist time too, but like I said nothing really jumped out at me. I’ll have to give it another whirl. I do like how the Pipers a getting to that space really quickly now.

  12. sumodie Says:

I’m still sitting on my Tahoe webcast codes too -keep waiting for the right night to go deep into that Light

Interesting how some have dinged the two sick leg II Lights for getting lost and/or ‘deconstructing the jam’ (poorly paraphrased perhaps). I love those Lights for exactly the reasons that some do not

  13. gavinsdad Says:

    MINOR!

  14. sumodie Says:

not saying you should spin all of HBowl, just the Piper

fantastic example of 3.0’s so-called musical density

  15. voopa Says:

    Libyans are singing Free tonight.

  16. gavinsdad Says:

nice amount of moma-ness in the gorge rnr…im sure it’s been mentioned enuff.

  17. lumpyhead Says:

MiA, rate the shows you saw in order

  18. lumpyhead Says:

sumodie – yes. couldn’t believe how short that piper was after hearing it.

  19. Mdawg Says:

    haha MINOR!

:::head’s over to the hotelburnham to break some legs:::

  20. Mike in Austin Says:

    I’m terrible at rating shows.

  21. gavinsdad Says:

kinda cant let last week go. cookie’d up, kids in bed, wife out at a movie with a friend, running this gorge boogie on at yawning drone.

tomorrow and the upcoming work week should knock the uic experience outta me.

  22. win butler Says:

    Arcade Fire @ Outside Lands>>>

  23. angryjoggerz Says:

GD, sorry I sort of rec’d the Hotel Burnham. Only eaten there, know the location and history, etc. but had never stayed there and raged the rooms, so…

    Chicago still welcomes you.

  24. gavinsdad Says:

dude please AJ. i stayed in a Kimpton in Boston last Sept. it made perfect sense. not a worry.

chicago was rad and deserves some more non-phish visits with the wife. great city.
