  1. Mr.Miner Says:

    who’s arguing?

  2. butter Says:

its a different non shreddy, non rock star, non proggy, very patient and purposeful Trey

so i see the minimalist label, too

but Trey clearly shows not only why we follow endlessly, but why his own bandmates are loyalist too, during this Tweez

and i do think its much bigger than Trey. which is why i have fully bought into – Trey’s patience – being key.

    more meditation
    more baby deer
    more dank sinatra

  3. Lycanthropist Says:

that Tweezer left majestic glorious residue on the rest of the set.

I felt the Golden Age jam invigorated with Tweezer
The Limb by Limb was exalted by it.
And Light bathed in its spiritual aftermath.

  4. Mr.Miner Says:

ive said from the get go, his playing in this jam is very un-Trey’y

  5. butter Says:

he’s like as mellow as Steve Kimock for the whole Tweez jam

  6. butter Says:

    l love it.

dont know what your going to get when the boys hit the stage as much as ever…

going to get my head in the NFL….go Bears!!! Cutler rules!!!

  8. Dr Pronoia Says:

an oppressive sadness in NYC today. Can see it on everyone’s face on the streets. So glad you made it through, P

Gonna have a tough mental turnaround from watching the names read to watching football

Oh, and thanks to the generous BB’ers who just drained most of my computer’s memory with Europe 72. Seems like damn near every 1st set is identical. May have to commission the experts for their 1st set highlight versions, and then just keep the 2nd sets!

  9. TreyFace Says:

top three jams of the year imo

    1. Gorge R&R
    2. Charlotte Ghost
    3. Tahoe Light

so many more that could be there as well

  10. win butler Says:

    Sorry Miner, I was arguing.

Heading into the home studio. Time to scribe some more worthless music that no one digs. No one, except for Telas’muff.

  11. TreyFace Says:

hoping for a big AC/DC Bag in VT

  12. Mr.Miner Says:

I have a feeling they will drop another big tweeze.

  13. Robear Says:

Jason Hansen is 50 years old. Find someone else for kicking off.

  14. Robear Says:

Miner, give us an outlier prediction to chew on.

Doesn’t have to be something you hope for. Something u r thinking might happen. (besides good times with rainbows and friends)

  15. Jtran Says:

Anyone have any good ways to watch the Rugby world cup?

Does anyone here even watch rugby?

  16. Mr. Palmer Says:

Jtran- Today is week 1 NFL.

  17. phoammhead Says:

fly’s nephew is a world class rugby player, 6’7″, stout, 19 yrs old, loves phish

  18. Mr. Palmer Says:

Robear- you doing any FF this year?

  19. Al Says:

I hope they will jam their asses off instead of playing a mainstream festi set to attract the newbies. Water in the sky might be a logical opener.

  20. Robear Says:

    Jtron, it’s on directv.

  21. Mr.Miner Says:

Prediction? No clue. I guess a lot of old school songs? I don’t know…

  22. Robear Says:

    P, took the year off.

  23. Mr. Palmer Says:

Oh well. I will use you as my counsel this year then. Have two teams.

  24. Al Says:

my guess on songs played at vermont gig:
Water in the sky (opener set 1), Birds, Bowie, Joy, Chalkdust, Drowned (Opener set 2)…

  25. TreyFace Says:

think they’ll announce MSG at the show??
