  2. kayatosh Says:

as a liberal, obama was a major letdown.

  3. tela'smuff Says:

i ripped some bong loads with boehners kid back in ’96. total stoner. he was too. 😉

  4. alf Says:

    wilson’s got a boehner

i assume someone will be able to come up with hilariously on point ball and dicks jokes to append to this

I’ve also seen this page(s) of achievements before, haven’t checked recently

  6. alf Says:

at least if a conservative were enacting obamas agenda there would be outrage on the left… that seems preferable to me than the deafening silence of progressive acquiescence we have now

  7. Selector J Says:

    Woohoo! Politics!

I find the “GOP=DEM” argument incredibly oversimplified. Does anyone really believe the war in Iraq happens with Gore-Lieberman in the WH?

  8. Guyute711 Says:

The war would have happened here selector ha ha

  9. joe Says:

this is as far as I’ll get politically speaking: Obama is a liberal since he even utters the word tax. it’s all a front for the corporations anyways, as we’ve all discussed before. They’ve got us right where they want us. Pretending to offer two different ways to run the country when it’s really all just the same old bs. just variations of bs, but got enough people riled up on the differences to think we’ve actually got some say. (this is most true at the Federal level and less so the further down and more local you get)

It’s gotten to the point that I used to care much more deeply about these things and now I just throw my hands up and bull shit on a message board and watch football.

Obama is a liberal, yes, but he really comes from the Chicago school of Dem’s – which is pretty pro business, friendly with money and at times a bit totalitarian. It’s machine politics. This turns people off who are not part of the machine, as the machine is pretty tight and just rolls over those in their way (like it or not). He got a lot of training here in Chicago, and his Chief of Staff’s both are pure machine guys (one being the current Mayor of Chicago and the other being the former mayors son and other former mayors brother).

  11. marcoesq Says:

yea, rahm..forgot about that guy for a hot second

  12. MrCompletely Says:

::MrC swings in for a driveby and flees from political talk

    …ummmm…Essex Carini GOOD!

  13. marcoesq Says:

havent even listened to that carini yet

  14. Selector J Says:

Am I the only one that can’t get that Carini vid to play?

  15. Selector J Says:

Probably just me. Can’t get any vimeo to play.

  16. Mr palmer Says:

I blame anyone who owns a corporate jet.

    Mother fuckers!!

  17. Selector J Says:

    Me, too.
    Fucking Dan Snyder.

  18. Mike in Austin Says:

    Carini works for me.

  19. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

    it could always be worse

  20. Mike in Austin Says:

I don’t think it’s the Corporate Jet owning motherfuckers that bother me. It’s those that make 100% of their income in a special tax class called “Carried Interest” at 15% that piss me off.

That said, probably 90% of those guys also own Corporate Jets.

  21. joe Says:

the only group of people who bother me are the 27.8 million people who watched 2 and a half me last night. (no offense to sitcom lovers on here)

  22. Mike in Austin Says:

It makes me feel warm and fuzzy that Trey can again embrace that deep dark dissonance jam in Carini. That’s what’s been missing out of the better Splits to me. So many almost there, but come up short. The commitment to go deep into that overdriven modal jam was a huge part of 98′ to 00’s more crazy “evil” jams. Kudos.

1/2 way through he could have axed it, but kept going with that B Major jam.

Kinda think the ending was a bit fluffy, but I like it.

  23. Mike in Austin Says:

I don’t think I’ve ever watched an episode of 2 and a half men, or Jersey Shore.

    I have watched Dick’s Tweezer 30x though.

  24. joe Says:

I think Ball simple video is in my most viewed lead, followed by dte disease with tweezer gaining by the day.

  25. snowbank Says:

    What’s Up BB?

    Politico’s this pm, eh?

I say Clinton is an awesome politician. Still love that guy, no matter how much he was sucked. that didn’t come out right.

Obummer? His ideals are stronger than his strategery. My guess is that he is very liberal but plays his cards close to be appealing to the mainstream. It is kind of a requirement for anyone on the left to be effective they must be pragmatic enough that those squarely on the left are disenchanted. Hence the constant failure. Hopefully the TEA party is creating the same dynamic for republicans.

    hope everyone is well
