Tahoe 2 (disease – 1st half of 2001) makes me feel as good as
Any other show I spin from the summer

Fav Jim of 3.0, with plinko, plus a tail end jam

Ghost that’s flying under like a stealth bomber. Sick jam then goes way open spiritual ambient quick

Fav energy version of Golden Age
    Great -> 2001.

From the middle of 01 the set does turn a bit meh. But I’m all about the opening chunk of set 2.

  5. butter Says:

The intro and opening section is hot, but when they go to coversate for a jam, not much is happening, and you can feel the energy of the set come to a screeching halt.

But like I say the 40 minutes or so to kick that set off is the goods, IMO

“Progressivism is a political attitude favoring or advocating changes or reform through governmental action. ”

Just not into chatting it up on the board. Read back thru comments, some very insightful and thoughtful ideas . Seriously email me, I do like to discuss these issues and find a direct dialogue more rewarding.

@MR.C hit up my email, have some shots from the Gorge need to send you.

  16. joe Says:

I’m even beginning to feel nostalgic about the days of downloading music.

  17. MrCompletely Says:

from the interview on Fresh Air today it sounds like Ron Suskind’s Obama book should be pretty interesting if you want to understand the divide between what he made people think he was about and what has actually happened.

  18. MrCompletely Says:

fuck the cloud. I want my jams on my own hard drives and backed up on optical media.

the ‘cloud’ moniker is on point – clouds never last – not that the idea will go away but you can’t count on anything to be there forever

  19. joe Says:

I know, but it’s so convenient while at work with a shared computer.

  20. MrCompletely Says:

    oh sure

i stream stuff all the time

it’s great for what it is but I’m just saying, don’t count on it being there, so if it’s a piece of music or vid you want to keep, grab it

but for checking out new stuff or just killing time when you’re away from your music, of course it’s awesome

  21. joe Says:

can’t roll a spliff on it though, as the lame joke goes.

  22. joe Says:

never mind financially supporting the artist. A philosophy that got reinforced by the members of this board for me.

  23. Gratefulcub Says:

Wandering the streets of NYC + darkstarenstein = awesome

  24. Gratefulcub Says:

Way behind. But Mog is awesome for checking out music. If I love it, I buy/steal/borrow.
