Full Moog synth on your ipad. Page will travel light in 2012.

Get it now. Awesome fun. Hooked my ipad up to my home theater and landed a mothership in the living room.

I remember you telling me about that show after it happened @plord. What a great thing to surface, thanks for the link!

hey do you bluegrass heads have this Marin County Bluegrass Festival ’74 fileset? There’s a short Old and in the Way set *and* a short Great American String Band set, Jerry sits in (along with others) with Nitty Gritty for a bunch of tunes & also for a couple tunes with Frank Wakefield I think….plus sets or partial sets from Norman Blake and Tut Taylor, Doc and Merle Watson, Ramblin’ Jack, Jim & Jesse McReynolds…it’s pretty fun

Darol Anger is a funny funny dude and a stone cold badass. We produced several Anger/Marshall shows and similar/related gigs ‘back in the day’ (99-2001)

David Grisman Quintet ’77 with Anger, Tony Rice and maybe Mike Marshall too, though it might be Todd Philips, I forget. I drop this link here about once every 6 months and I don’t think anyone has ever noticed it. It’s uber, uber sick. http://www.mediafire.com/?u4zf9kepl0yem

  5. MrCompletely Says:

the ’74 bluegrass festival fileset is circulating on Workingman’s Tracker. don’t know if it’s elsewhere

  6. garretc Says:

Au contraire, Senor C, that DGQ show is a regular in the garretc rotation!

    Hot stuff.

  7. Chuck sweD Says:

i got a handful of listens on that santa cruz set as well. quality stuff.

  8. garretc Says:

The kinda shit that just makes you laugh and shake your head because it’s so astoundingly virtuosic…

  9. Mr. Palmer Says:

  10. MrCompletely Says:

ah cool. fun stuff. sets the bar high for sure

  11. EL Duderino Says:

    speaking of Team Hood…

who’s got my h3tty invitation code??????

    pretty please?

  12. Mr. Palmer Says:

speaking of Culture, what are other recs from their catalogue besides Two Sevens Clash?

  13. EL Duderino Says:

6 camera angles! these guys have taken it to a whole ‘notha’ level

  14. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

  15. albert walker Says:

  18. MrCompletely Says:

    the new trololololo

i have no idea why but it keeps getting funnier

  19. Mr. Palmer Says:

Any live reggae/dub acts nowadays that are worth catching live? any groups tour on a regular basis?

  20. Mr. Palmer Says:

I mean, I know there are acts out there, but i get the impression a lot of them are crap.

  21. Mr. Palmer Says:

    WTF @ Mr. c?

  22. albert walker Says:

a lot of the OG acts don’t tour anymore palmer

used to catch Israel Vibration, Culture, and Burning Spear all the time back in the day

maybe Burning Spear still does but I haven’t even seen them out in a while

Joseph Hill of culture died a few years back

  23. MrCompletely Says:

Culture was a great live show. Fantastic. Huge pain in the ass from a production standpoint like most reggae acts (bizarre backstage requests, enormous guest lists) but amazing

caught those others you mention at least once each. Were all very fun. Worked a couple Burning Spear shows too, not as much PITA as Culture, great vibe

  24. bob dylan Says:

scratch comes thru but i hear he goes on way late and it can be hit or miss.

you know you guys can see spearhead right? HOW Y’ALL FEELIN’?!!
