    to each his own

  2. EL Duderino Says:

    iPhone 4S yes or no???

  3. Mr. Palmer Says:

That reminds of Bittersweet Motel where Trey is like.

The 1970’s suburban white kid is a part of american rock history….deal with it.

Acting the Devil doesn’t bother me. I thought Pigtail was lame-o. Shine is beat as well as Let me Lie.

  4. Mr. Palmer Says:

    should be in quotes ^^

  5. EL Duderino Says:

Pigtail is definitely lame-O Palmer, agreed there big time.

  6. EL Duderino Says:

he’s right on the 70’s white kid and R&R

  7. albert walker Says:

Trey’s song writing just doesn’t really work for me generally

stick to the one or two chord jam vehicles and complex compositions

he’s always wanted to be the song writer. it’s like Shaq wanting to rap and act.

  8. Mr. Palmer Says:

He needs to stick with Tom. They seem to have a good thing going for the most part.

    summer of 89

  10. EL Duderino Says:

Trey is a collaborator not a song writer IMO like the Jer/robert dealy

  11. albert walker Says:

been spinning that Bethel KDF a bunch Palmer

shit is the bizness. really one of my fav jams of the return. first time KDF really hit me. when they rip the jam I dig that song.

  12. albert walker Says:

Trey is a great guitar player

  13. albert walker Says:

    laterz kids

crazy shit at work lately. high vol. need to regroup for another fun day by puffin some OG tubes.

  14. EL Duderino Says:

I don’t dig KDF. i don’t hate it I just find it rather vanilla when it comes to a rock song. almost too straight forward for me, which is a reason I love Alaska. clever write good jam section swings way more than KDF. I really dig it

  15. Mr. Palmer Says:

When they jam it , it is great. Listen to that show all the time. Good time.

    Tweezer opener… smiles all around.

We’ve been talking about full tour releases like the euro 72 box, and the only way Phish could remaster to the same sound quality is with multi track recordings.

Well, it looks like they’ve got them for most shows from fall 94 on

“CD: Are all Phish performances over the past few years now archived in multitrack format? If so, when did Paul start recording shows in multitrack format?

Most are. There are a few that escape multitrack because of space limitations. For example, the recent Japan shows are not on multitrack due to the difficulty of getting all of the machines over there. Paul began doing 32 track DA-88 recording in Summer/Fall 1994, and has done every show since then on 32 track, with only a few exceptions. Now we’re running 40 tracks, which include some backup tracks of the basic 2 track mix that gets run to DAT each night.”

jtran with the ace sleuthing. Great news.

I am late to the news of the fall 97 release coming up. That looks pretty sweet all by itself, but a full Fall 95 or 97 box would obv be the stone shizzle.

  21. EL Duderino Says:

thanks Jtran I love reading stuff like that.
is there any pre ’94 tech tape talk?

  22. EL Duderino Says:

    10/01 – 12/31 ???? thats a lot of shows

  23. Jtran Says:

Don’t believe this release will be a multrack remaster. Saving the great sounding stuff for a full box at some point I hope

  24. EL Duderino Says:

    is hampton comes alive?

  25. Mr palmer Says:

Turned on the Repub presidential debate. Funniest shit on TV. I recommend it for a few laughs. Newt is the smartest dude up there by a mile. Ron Paul is great. The rest are horror shows. Boy, we are fucked. One of these asshats are going to be running country.
