Good stuff, I am fascinated with that shite. Used to intern and then work per diem for the Northeast branch of Clear Channel, whixh is now LiveNation. All the people were super cool bit you could just tell peeps felt gross for their allegiance

  5. alf Says:

what nights did bobby d reserve the blarney stone?

  6. Jtran Says:

Yep KP, that was an epic trip. So glad we made the 9 (12?) hour ride.

  7. Mr. Palmer Says:

I think Bobby D did the Blarney on the 29th and the 31st.

KP- nice to see the ghetto-Fab back up. That was some weekend in Vegas. Wow. Put a hurting on. Large crew, everyone flush with $$ at the time. Raging the Hard Rock pool. Remarkably enough i have some vivid memories from those shows. By the second night, second set i was toast.

    @KP:

That Gin was sweet…no rolling into 2001. I really hope over the MSG run, Phish lays down a big and thick 2001. It is long overdue, as I’m sure it will be agreed by the BBers.

spun some Round Room in the car just now. That album is severely underrated. so raw and tripped out. P&M had me paranoid, so intensely psychedelic. and listen to trey’s vocal in mexican cousin – his voice has that laid back (tequilla’d) sound and it seems the lyrics are his genuine sentiments.

  13. kenny powers Says:

stayed home sick w/ a cold which i do have….coughing up sludge and sinuses acting up….but i got bored, went to the pub for a couple pints, and now am making my way into this 9/29/00 GIN.

If you like the FX in Steam, you’ll love the OG Walls of the Cave. Also cannot stress how surprisingly awesome the OG #Line is. Stunning.

the 2001 is also my daddy, and is currently owning my ass.

  16. Mr. Palmer Says:

I agree Bingos. Nice little ditty.

Nothing better then a beautiful fall day in New England. Spinning SBIX Set 1 Day 3 and I just can’t stop smiling. Hope everyone is having a nice week, only one more day till the weekend.

  18. Robear Says:

I love that show / set, Tom.

Spun 12/31/98 from top to bottom for the first time in ages. $$$$

    Hey BB
This old onion interview of Mike was posted on Phish.net today. Transcribed with some errors but really a great interview. Mike goes into a story about our friend the ‘timer’ and other interactions with fans that have been ‘annoying’. Pretty great stuff.

  22. Mulitbeast Says:

I been listening to “Miner’s Picks: Laid Back Funk ’98” A LOT lately. So many good selections made on this mix.
    Thank you Mr. Miner.

  23. kayatosh Says:

if I got verbally bitch slapped by trey for timing songs and facially sassing the band, I would retreat from the scene in shame.

  24. Mulitbeast Says:

    kaya
for real. But it takes some serious balls to do that in the first place, so instead of leaving the scene he donned cape and hung out in the back of the venue.

  25. kayatosh Says:

    nice point, multi.
