Mike’s Song” 10.29.96 II, Tallahassee, FL

I often push this “Mike’s” in which the band got in some pre-Atlanta practice, vamping over Remain In Light’s “Houses in Motion” during the song’s second jam.

Good gosh. I’m surprised the French Government didn’t extradite Phish after this Wolfman’s for lewd behaviour.

  2. tela'smuff Says:

MiA – do you find that Spotify has been updating their library pretty continuously? i used it a lot at first, but then found it frustrating that a quarter of my library wasn’t recognized by Spotify.

as a tool for sharing playlists, its awesome.

  3. Guyute711 Says:

Sounds like we have a cocky frolfer. Time for a down day I bet.

  4. angryjoggerz Says:

Lewd behavior will get you a cabinet position in France.

  5. Mike in Austin Says:

Tela, your library is like the Library of Congress over there.

If you’re gonna go real deep, it’s only so much. They should allow bands to post onto Spotify if they want. Like iTunes pretty much allows. If you can create a track, you can sell it on iTunes. Which means iTunes has a lot more independent labels on it.

Not sure if Spotify has that depth yet. No Beatles. No Led Zeppelin, etc.

    It’s limited I guess. Found the 12″ version of Prince’s “Let’s Work” though…

  6. Type III Jamming Personality Disorder Says:

you guys need to start playing skins
doubles (best disc) is a great way to save yourself epically frustrating shots too while still getting in good practice and adding some competition to it

  7. Mike in Austin Says:

Ha AJ. Or thrown off the IMF.

  8. kayatosh Says:

we’re all cooped up, so feel the pain.

Kaya, love the Mao Tse Tounge lyric…

    Dig it!

    Presto, read the communist manifesto
Guerillas in the mist, a guevara named ernesto, so
    (e-roc: what a brother with a afro know? )
Yo, go and flow for the mack and be the hoe
So grow cause the lynchin brothers might get hung
Better rip through em from the tip of my mao tse- tongue
Deficit (money spent) catch the glint
(e-roc: of my nine as they cut welfare twenty-five percent)
And I dissent, as I clench and raise my fist
(we did away with, that) so you could get with this
    Here’s a twist cause we’ll overthrow like kwame n’krumah
Spread around the wealth as if it were a, vicious rumor
Pam, cuts a record like a surgeon cuts a tumor from a brain
(e-roc: we’re all cooped up so feel the pain)
From four hundred years of exploitation
Anesthesia provided by your local tv station
Patience is not a virtue (I ain’t waitin)
Turn this shit over like bush did a boatload of haitians

    Truly great stuff.
