One Month To Go…

7.3.11 - Watkins Glen (Graham Lucas)

Seven Below > Ghost” 11.28.09, Albany, NY

When this sequence dropped two years ago tonight, it was nothing short of a revelation for a jam-deprived fan base of Fall ’09.

Bernie Williams just came up on shuffle. Dude could play ball. One of my favorite Yankees ever. He is good at classical smooth/light jazz guitar as well.

i went to the trey nashville orchestra time turns elastic offering a few years back. it was kinda meh. not going again.

is it too early to get a little frustrated by trey and his side projects taking away from phish?

  13. joe Says:

big $600 win for the fund yesterday. risking $200 of it on Under 51.5 tonight. A contrarian play, I admit, and one I won’t feel good about at all while the ball is in Brees’ hands. (and even Eli’s too)

  14. halcyon Says:

Nervous about which Giants show up. The Giants of the past two weeks, or the Giants that beat the Pats a few weeks back.

    Let’s go G Men

  15. BingosBrother Says:

  18. ThePigSong Says:

I spent the afternoon building a small coffee/drink table which unfortunately I think I’m going to take apart or throw away. I’m sitting here about to stain it, but I’m just not happy with the base.

That’s what I get living in the city and building with my mini battery powered circ saw (which I love).

  19. ThePigSong Says:

Listened to that ’99 Target Center show this afternoon though, made for a great time.

I’ve been off work, except for a few hours here and there, for 11 days. People who say they are ready to go back to work after extended periods off are just crazy.

stupid real life trying to dent my plans, but I will be undeterred and at the very least be in nyc for miner’s party and that night’s show. hopefully, the day before as well.

listening to Sirius (superball light, waves>wtu) yesterday with the pats game on in the background, puffin with my converted to phish more each day friend yesterday had him convinced to make the trek with me.

  21. joe Says:

checking out the tracks finally here. about to get to “A relatively straightforward version from the least significant show of Worcester’s three-night, tour-closing stand in ’98.” tweezer. Not miner’s biggest endorsement, but post worthy, nonetheless.

Dig the ghost, although I think I like the newer intro/vocals than the original style. Especially after multiple spins yesterday of the Charlotte and MSG ghosts from last year.

  22. joe Says:

    speaking of worcester version there

  23. EL Duderino Says:

    i’m pickin’ the Saints

  24. phoammhead Says:

MrMiner, just bought your book. Thanks for your huge contribution to the phish community! Thanks, man!

    Drive by thoughts…

I’ve spun the Plasma from the TAB Montclair show I attended about a dozen times, and a few tunes from that show more than once, but that’s it.

As for that Defense Auth Bill it’s crazy, pretty much the only bipartisanship you see is when it’s time to amp up the Police State. Thought it is a good thing to have Congress attempt to get involved in this issue of detention policy. We can’t just have lawyers in the WH and Defense Dept deciding what is ok in terms of detention of us citizens, etc. Not much hope of reigning that stuff in without the Congress, as the Executive will ALWAYS seek more authority.

Hoping for a Giants win, kind of expecting a double digit loss with all the injury issues. Won’t be able to hold the ball long enough to keep NO off the field without the O line doing a decent job.
